That has to be, albeit "Good for you *thumbs up*" behavior, one of the most useless things to do.

Practically speaking that is.

Can't think of many reasons you'd need to lift, after about 15 minutes of prepping, 300kg "a bit" off the ground :D

"A lorry tipped over?! I'll save you!!"

*runs to the scene!*

*Starts to prep for lift*

Hurry up will ya, i'm crushing here!!

"Have no fear, Slow Lifter is here!!..not a good name..."

*finally lifts the lorry a good 3 inches up*

Could you lift it a bit higher?!

"No no, this is as far as my powers go! For i am the three inch guy!..no wait...Lift Three Inch man?...no..."

Though i don't agree that this deserves an own thread, but if you called it "Weight lifting thread", it owuld be cool :D

Albeit i think personally "almost spraining a ligament or two" is quite in the opposite direction of enjoyable, for me, and especially if you look at the "mishaps"(ouch), but i can see how some would think it is.

It's just in the category of "those things that seem pointless".

Well i know which is better for me in the long run.

As i said above, gauge your ability properly and you won't have any problems.

Smoking and drinking seem pointless to me, yet i'm sure many people will advocate it.

Live and let live tbh.

Yes and i'm saying exactly what you're saying. Not syaing "Well those weightlifters are morons and rabble rabble."

Though, even professionals, who i think can gauge the motherf*cker out of these things, have mishaps. And those buggers seem to hurt :eek6:
