Really happy with Firefox...only thing is, it seems to take a long time to open up

Sort of, but im on a 15.4inch laptop and it takes up too much room even if i make the bar small as possible.

So just wanted a likkle button to press to open it :)

So you want a button which you can press which will open and close the book mark sidebar?

Right click on the toolbar at the top (around the "reload", "stop" or "home" buttons) and choose customise.
Drag the "Bookmarks" icon onto the toolbar.

Pressing this new button will toggle the sidebar.

That what you were after? :)

Isn't Chrome about as safe as Gary glitter in a nursery?

Sorry if i'm mis-quoting you, but is there any truth behind it? I can't say I've used/read anything on Chrome, but most of the guys at work said it's got alot of security holes in.

It has, people are trading security for speed. Chrome is still safer than IE in many regards though and that alone makes it a worthwhile install. Sticking with Firefox for the moment myself, it might be bloaty and slow but it has been rock solid secure since the day I installed it and that is the most important thing for me.
