Actually no, it wouldn't be.

There is no such thing as "turned down gently", for men there's turned down and not.

I'd prefer, any day, a women saying clearly what she thinks without ny silly notions and excuses.

Ok Tohtori you're too fat and smelly for this piece of hot ass!

Actually, i think he should go with the old sob story approach.

It's a tricky one, but when he is left alone with the girls friend, he talks about how he said what he said, but got no response and he is quite distraught by it. Ofcourse putting on a brave face and asking for secrecy for the discussion.

This way, he will seem genuine, vulnerable and as such, might strike the fancy of the friend :p

Thats much like the other favourite of many a man. Begging.

You moan about being turned down gently. Would you prefer a girl to say"Just FUCK OFF now" surely that would be worse?

err, no, not to me. I value clarity in all things.

in a non-relationshit/sex vibe, I once asked a girl to pose with my brother for a picture as it was his stag night, and got told "in a minute". Apparently that not only means "no", but also includes "get the hell away from me".

so...ladies of the world...JUST SAY NO WHEN YOU DON'T WANT TO DO SOMETHING. kthxbye.

Also while on the subject; the words nice/interesting/cool means something to men.

So when you say "Tell me something interesting about yourself" or "Tell me something nice", we don't hear "Tell me something"(which you mean), but we hear the interesting/nice/cool part and it puts more pressure on it.

Direct, blunt, no wishywashy, no feelings crap, tell it like it is women and maybe, MAYBE......you'll start to understand men.

What you don't want to hear in response is "I have crabs and genital warts" :)
