Sammie Davis Jr, level 24 eye patch wearing , Santa lookalike Dwarven berserker has 346 rp.

he will cap tonight! then he will be buried in the viking fashion, i can only hope that he goes out on the mid bridge with the a pile of albion infiltrator's bodies around him.

i would like to sincerely thank all the mids who grouped with me, especially the skalds who delivered "The dwarf atom bomb" into battle. too many names to mention you all, special thanks to Trull and Bare. You guys rock!

i would also like to sincerely thank ALL my very worthy and skilful enemies for making Sammie's 2 weeks on Thidranki such a blast. Again too many names to mention, but special dispensation to Osonir, the one and only infiltrator who ever owned Sammie when i was fresh and on full HP, also that armsman with the glowing green polearm, those were some cool 1 on 1s.

it was a blast, no really, Sammie was so much fun to play, im considering re rolling him (but thats for later.)

A new hero shall rise! however, i have been having so much fun with Sammie i have neglected to level him, he is only level 12 at the moment, some hard work to do this week. Be prepared and stand by.....

Bah! I capped tonight aswell. Im debating over whether i can be bothered to level up my NS to thid or not. Really I just want PvP out (I even started testing out my chosen char on a german server, played it to level 7 - "Ich nicht spreche deutsch"). Anyway, if I'm not out there anymore im sure ill see ya all on PvP at some time.

1) because im waiting for PvP, and have bowed out of high level XP, especially if i dont know if i will or wont be going to PvP fulltime.
2) 1 9 second stun ability does not a good player make, the stun you have on BG1 (if you do have a stun class char) is equivalent to the HP and damage i have on BG1. ergo, if you can kill me on BG1, you can kill me on "real" RvR. (thidranki IS real RvR).
3) Sammie is t3h L33t Dw4rf At0m b0mb.

YES MATE! hurry and level your NS! there is time for 1 more alt, before PvP. trust me, its gonna be delayed, every other patch has been. we are talking a good 3 weeks. and if that isnt enough incentive.

I will be playing a caster as my next alt, how can you turn down the opportunity to kill me? eh? come on, you know you want to!

Well I'm having a bit of difficulty with her at the moment, I keep loosing her on the screen.
Lurikeens are far too small!!

Trull: Well healers may take a couple of backstabs if you dont mind.

Mack: You killed my ranger twice and my bard once, if I spend hours leveling this NS solely to kill you three times then it will be worth it.

Danyan: You should be quite near to cap soon too, anyway I dont think a single day went by when someone didnt scream at me for not messing an assain fast enough, not so uber.

Hmm Im not sure how much high level RvR u have done but i think u will find its very much different in E main as it is in Thidranki. One good example In the case of your zerker u go bear after lvl 40 u will suffer more of a defense penalty than u would an attack bonus. The one thing that is shaping the way RvR is done is realm abilities. I agree BG RvR is fun but its not like main RvR by any stretch. I hope you do level one up as u just seem so L33t and i need some lessons

i have 2 high level chars

and sure zerkers rage is not as good as it is at low levels.

but in essence, RvR in thid is the same as it is in emain.

even down to the wall/atk camping.

the only difference being keeps taken have a knock on effect to relics.

dont lecture me if you dont know the situation.

sure realm abilities make succesful (read players how play more) even tougher. but to be honest, a warden on thid is a downgraded version of his emain counterpart. sure u get some nice new spells and RA, but the bulk of his abilities are set in place. that goes for all classes. some blossom more in later stages and some fall back in later stages, and the reverse is true............some are better on BG and some less so later on. a zerker being the case in point.

from the way you played darbey i could see u were one of the more clever infiltrators, often escaping after he 1 shotted some1 at atk.

lets not blow this out of proportion.........there is some skill to this game (in a group sense) (in a solo sense it is merely pressing a certain combination of keys, be that mezz, nuke, nuke, root, mezz.........or rage button, chain 1, chain 2, chain 3.......or PA, garotte, sprint)...........it also favours people who ahve more play time.........and some classes are better against some other classes.............no1 said i was L33t. just that i could, and did, kill you (as in infiltrators) in 2 hits.

im no more or less skilful than the next man (well actually i am more skilful than thsoe guys who camp atk and die agaian and again)........but i do know the classes, and i do know good specs........for emain (there is other RvR than emain dontcha know?) and for thidranki.

roll up a new char mate...........you can come and have some fun with my runemaster.

oh anmd 1 last thing, try and keep the BG forums on a ncie tone. your jibes or put downs dont fit in well. were all having fun

Soloing takes just as much skill as grouping in my opinion, everything in this game is ultimately just down to pressing the right buttons in the right combinations but you've got to know when to press them, where to be etc

And technically you did say you were leet mate, just out of context, you meant it in humour.
