Alot of wardens go high rejuv (regrowth) and they got a sloppier rejuv-spec then friars do (no spec-groupheals, no cures). If you're bodyguarder you aint gonna dish out much melee-damage anyhow (u need to BG; not charge the enemy) so why not heal abit better? Battlemaster-styles and you're in business. More staff is cool for soloing; but for pure grouping its not that much needed.

yea i see where u r comming from but IMO staff to a decent level is a must.
because not many friars at all are ALWAYS in a group. u will solo sometimes and with 10? staff u r gonna be outmelee'd by a bard (ok maybe not but you get the point)..

imo 25 rejuve is easy enough for a friar.

imo my old spec is best for groups

25 rejuve
49 enhance
39 staff
rest parry

if your gonan sacrifice summin . sacrifice your toa melee bonus' (i.e get a MP staff with %heal bonus instead of tarts. nailah instead of gov etc etc)and apply that with heal bonus instead . one of my older templates had 7 or 8% cast speed and 25% heal bonus on it cple levels of mastery of healing also and your laffing IMO.

in a caster group friar is far, far, far better than a pala for mele defence.

best alb setup atm imo is :

friar (with decent rejuve and top resists), Reaver, 2 clerics, 1 sorc, 1 minstrel (provided they are a decent rr so they can get some group friendly ra's), 1 caba, 1 thurg.

thats just rubbish :p a paladin wears plate and a shield. a friar wears leather and a 2h staff. paladin is far more durable under melee attack, however it undenyable that friars do own in grps for there enourmous utility. tbh not sure why they aren't used more often, grp end chant to friars plzktnx!

To those that are knocking high rejuv spec, have you tried it since spec heals got boosted or not?

33 juv strikes a pretty nice balance of good healing and leaving you enough points for 29 staff and 49 enhance - it's a really balanced spec.

I got 34 currently ( cause I'm lvl 41 only ) and the heals are VERY light on power. It's awesome how much I can heal with them
