high reg wardens can spam 4 maybe 5 ff with full end bar :p

friars use a LOT more end afaik than wardens when using bm tyles due to us being two handed weapons and wardens using 1 handed.

was groupd with a polearmsman a while back he couldnt use some styles (mainly FF) . unless he wa fully buffed. same with friars. if we aint self buffed we cant use FF either. why.... i dunno lol

but i am looking forward to NF cos the people in the "know" will see that the new friar ra's coupled with what friars bring to rvr anyways is going to be a VERY good thing.

ofc i maybe a bit biased but all decent grops will ahve a rr5+ friar in them imo :)

End cost reduction buff (Saint's Tenacity line). Although it seems to calculate whether you can use FF or not based on the unmodified end cost, it will say you don't have enough end, then a few % later when you do it will only use half you remaining end or so.

With the polearmsman, I imagine the qui spec buff was responsible increasing swing speed and therefore decreasing end cost per swing, this would affect friars too.

pity he isn't wanted for rvr grps anymore :wij:
Then get ML8+ Battlemaster instead of complaining incessantly. Friars received serious loving with the possibility of being BGers.

Its nothing to do with 2h vs 1h weapons: its weapon speed that matters. End usage is affected by the style and the effective weapon speed (after considering all RAs, quickness, TOA, haste bonuses etc).

Generally 2h weapons are slower than 1h, but friars can hit at cap speed depending on their choice of staff (cant they?)

Yeah its pretty stupid - but the problem there is with a slow weapon it would require more than a full bar of endurance for 1 style. Use a faster weapon (or for polearm users a 1h weapon) for FF.

Resists are good. But since theyve been unwanted for so long theres very few active TOAd friars around. Can hardly blame them ... ;)

Tch...everyone rolling scouts for NF when we all know friars are gonna be fotm. There are a few TOAed (though choice of artis as a friar is pretty shoddy) high ML friars kicking around, and right now is the most groupable friars have been since RAs came in. Hell today someone invited me without me even asking :) Days of the friarmerc are coming to an end though.

only reason why friars aint been welcome into grps is because lack of det. same reason why reavers aint welcome.

come nf nowt much changes because det is TO exspensive . BUT for a friar to be full groupable IMO he needs high purge and also other more usefull grp ra's. and with 20% heal bonus and a decent amount of rejuve we can heal good!! and with bg/grapple etc even more usefull and imo prolly one of the best BG classes if not THE best . due to being able to heal/rez/cure. dmge with melee and all BM styles and arti skills etc. basically full sc . high ml rr5+ friars are extremely groupable classes come nf

I like friars in grp tbh, specially if they are good at BGing and grapple... with the 24% resists if acually give the clerics a chance to heal vs ewul "none self-debuffers" :p
