Friar??

I think friars should be fat too and have a unique "drunkness" RA whichthey r invulnerable to dmg for 2mins then jsut keel over and can't mvoe for an hour afterwards.

My lvl 40 Friar, while doing hes lvl 40 epic in HW, was waved at by a red con SB. Who then beckon at me, she than came over too me and beckoned again, she then took her armour off and beckoned a third time, at which point we started to fight.

I pressed the wings of death button and she was dead in 12 secounds. i don't no if she thought i was a caster or she wanted a quick trip home. But i got 1100rps in 12 secs all the same. she did beat me down too 50% hps tho, so if it was,nt for
my haste she might have won.

Soylent green lvl 42 Armsman.
Lon lvl 43 Friar.

Friar is like a warden except friar do more dmg and warden take no dam.

can we have infils, pallys, mincers, fire wizzies, sorcs and healers as well please?

infils - obvious so no need to justify
pallys - end chant on plate wearers
mincers - SoS
fire wizzies - highest dmg nukes/bolts
sorcs - qc mez + insane mez range in 1.60
healers - BoF

you have a fair number of cool classes that I think are uber (I know Hib has their fair share or more, that's not the point of this post)

btw.. shammies get cave magic and uber realm buffs, friars get melee and uber self buffs, I think that's meant to be the balance.. tho I really think that shammies need 1.5 spec pts per lvl.

DAnyan, my friar in RvR still gets nuked for 200-300 and i got 20% resist on heat and energy, chanter with a zealots kicks Shardon in no probs

indeed, albions highest resist i THINK is so...

26% base + 5% racial + 15% AoM 5 + 25% buff...

71%....as I say, I think this is rght but aint quite sure but it's worth a note to show that 5 (-400) is impossible.

for that, you would need 99% resist which only hibernia are capable of getting with the chanter unique RA which was stated should only work on the enchanter but in fact works on the whole group. Personally I think it SHOULD work on the whole grp but there ya go. Back to the point, friars,. nor any other class in alb/mid can get 99% resists

k, so so far we're looking at an R7L4 friar in order to be able to get 101% resist for very short periods of time. Yes, I bet you hit friars for 5(-400) really, really often!

that +5% racial is for spirit, not for any hib DD line.

Got 56% heat cold with buffs up, it comes handy when you dont have hp as a tank. And from what i know, BoF dosent stack with our self absorb buffs. :|

Please do, I don't think they are uber. Besides all assassin-classes will get nerfs (no IP, evade cap 50%)

Stop talking about plate. Mids have castable end-regen, castable health-regen (which doesn't take XP, ideal for pwrlevelling) and plate gives like 5% more absorb. Now that's gonna make a difference! You get killed by magic most of the times, not melee as a tank.

mincers - SoS

Is great, true. But you have to be sure you get it on before the mezz (more about that later) since it won't safe you when mezzed.

fire wizzies - highest dmg nukes/bolts

Highest? On paper perhaps. But a mana-chanter with a nuking pet and debuffing his own dmg and start nuking baseline does over time more damage.

sorcs - qc mez + insane mez range in 1.60

DOH! Quickcast is NOT an insta. Both realms have an insta on CC, Albs don't. Quickcast is not something magical; it reduces casting-time by 1/2 (about) and is harder to interrupt (it can be interrupted even). It is not an INSTA. It is NOT AN INSTA.

healers - BoF

Cleric has BoF, once again: Great. But it gives 50% bonus on 3 kinds of resists (slash, crush, thrust) and the enchanter RA gives 50% more resists on all magic resists. That is more kinds. So better.

Mids have great classes too, but the grass is always greener on the otherside. Mids have a zerker who can one-shot tanks and over 2000 hp. Please nerf!

Shammies have ranged damage and all kinds of nifty tricks. Even with 1.0x specpoints/level they can make a viable character.

Friars can't do that (they have to spec enh and staff to be any good in melee. If you needed 2 lines to spec to deal a nice DoT you should get 1.5x)
