Who was the fuckin moron that came up with the idea Friar?
That is a uber meele chr, they are like a shaman +speed and weapons specc line,
clothwearing fags that take more and gives more dmg than lots of other chrs ingame,
jesus christ mythic must be on some nice drugs, corporate doc giving out prescription for some nasty drugs?

should that be a class in the so called "meele realm" fuck, Mid is Gimp ffs.. so much shit it aint true.

GIVE SHAMAN WEAPONS SPECC LETS SEE WHO LAUGHS!

They wear leather sometimes also. And unlike casters, their cloth armor can be AF102, casters only AF51.
Those uber fighting friars tend to be pretty poor healers :p But they do kick decent ass indeed.

Friars are prolly one of albs best class's by along way :) and btw they also have asorbtion af buff to ^^ dunno the stats on it but it isnt any ordinary leather your hitting :)

they are both the realms secondary healers, both can buff, yet friar gets weapon access shaman doesnt, and with that friars get 1.5 spec points shamans only get 1.0

but friars also have 4 lines to put points into

Secondary healers, no way, they seriously suck as healers (although on paper, yeah agreeed they are secondary healers). Soon as they r cast on, it's aparant they aint so good...extremely good melee but when a class casts on em, that goes zip.

Aye, they generally don't get enough credit for the dmg they can do ;)

Yep friar is nice, easy to level cus they can play as healer (still much better than no healer at all :) ), or a tank.
The only thing they lack is slam, but resist buffs and self end regen more than make up for that.

prolly the self haste buff, refering to attack speed...or the fact that end never really is an issue, so the bustid is continuosly sprinting.

But all seriousness aside.. erm.. sarcasm I mean.. Friars are one of albion's best tanks imo. We are the absolute kings of 1v1. But what you fail to realize is that friars are damn weak vs. multiple enemies (in rvr that is). I have a great deal of trouble with zerkers, and 2 of them is out of the question. Arrows are usually a problem, and spells? pff, they own me :p. So before you get your panties in a knot, think about what you're saying.

Friars outdamaging every melee in the game: <loud buzzing> wrong! Let's take a look at what kind of damage a Crit Blade does. PA with a 2 hander for around 700-800 damage. Heros? around 500 damage. Zerkers? 500-600 damage. Pole armsmen? 400-500. Friars? 300-500.

Oh yes, we're so damn overpowered :rolleyes:.

But anyways, whine all you like, it gets worse, friar's get better and better through the next few patches and no nerfs in sight

wait till Quicksilver gets Reflex Attack, the friars unique RA, then you WILL have something to complain about ;)

friars are a very fun class to play, often wish i hadn't deleted my lvl16 :eek:

friar unique ra sucks

unstyled counter attack that can be blocked/parried/evaded/missed.

14 points and once every 30 minutes too.

Lower it to 15 minutes and 7 points and I just might consider getting it

Friar is like a warden except friar do more dmg and warden take no dam.

indeed , those resist buffs simply own and I usually end up nuking friars for around 200. and the end regen buff is VERY annoying --> when a friar is on me im dead unless someone kills him within a few secs or i get some serious healing :(

Nerf everyone, so that everyone does 5 damage a shot, and battles take 5 hours.

Also make the Friar model a big fat turkey leg eating bastard, then I'll delete a re-roll one on Alb.
