Friar specc help

i'm looking at a friar speccstaves 44, enhance 38, parry 30, rejuv 7 , is this a ok specc or do i need 50 ?

less parry.. 10 is enough and higher enhance for last dex/qui, shield and abs buffs.. at 44/45 u get all those

since i will allways solo , i thought higher parry since i will probably have bb anyway so =) , but to get second best self haste buff i need that enhance i have.......

at least 44 enh for the last Abs buff, which you wont get even with 10 bbs

I'm 44s 45e and does me fine for solo - you won't get abs buff or haste with your bot (though you'd probably get enough extra hp to maybe lose the absorb). I don't have a buffbot (on account of them being scum) but tbh if I was going to forego enhance I would put it into rejuv to round the character off better, rather than parry, but that's up to you.

i like it... people say why 14 in parry ...simple cos parry > evade in PvE it gets checked b4...and with moparry 2 i dont hardly get hit..and i still evade a LOT..and my rejuv gives me a nice variance on heals,,with Mcl i can just about keep a grp alive without having to use healing fields...and having 20+12 rejuv is quite nice.

oh and if its Camlann lol forget your BB unless your gonna trail it along behind you..itll get owned no matter where u leave it..and u cant zone and keep buffs.

Im 44 staff 47 enh 12 parry 7 rejuf for a long time allready..
The higher ws also increases the chance of evade+parry and with mine ml3
perfector ability i can solo chain pull hulks and such

p.s. In frontiers most friars will respec to more parry cause of mithic removing
dodger

problem i found with shitty low rejuv on my friar was it just takes too long to heal yourself (let alone others)

say u get in a fight on camlann, u win but ur on say 10-15%hp, with 7rejuv u gonna have to stand there spamming heals for like a minute before ur rdy to go hit the next guy.

if my friar ever made 50 i would go 44staff 38enhance 25rej 18parry (0 left over)

spec af and spec con from your bb should make up for the loss of the 5% abs buff

Hmm, if u wana have some healing power then i think
39 staff, 45 enh, 25 rejuf, 12 parry is best option..
w/o loosing to much weapon skill from dex/quik buff or staff skill,
u should b able to do red/purps w/o truble..
and belive me, the abs is wurth it in long fights

lol charming you ask for advice we give it then u insult us? ffs get a clue, i gave u honest advice i HAVE A 50 FRIAR you know. i think i understand better than you how a friar performs.. having a BB on a Friar really IS a waste, honestly..truly it is, if u have access to a BB you would do much better with something like a Merc...but still your choice.

And the BB zone thing...sure ofc your gonna trail a BB behind you in Camlann, you know what? any half decent class will chain your BB then you, making your BB worthless.. you cant park it anywhere safe and still get benefit from it.. but ofc you know better..sure sure... ill let you waste 5-6days before u realise its a BAD combo.. Friars are THE most self contained class in the game, we have Buffs that really mean the only buff your gonna want from a BB is spec dex/qui and spec con.. with our WS u can take pretty much any class apart from a necro...oops thats all your gonna find yourself fighting on Camlann these days..

Besides op bds (like mine).

BBs can be hidden.. but not forever. I do agree that bbs are pretty useless to friars besides str/con. Why not roll an inf, or stealther which are much more fun than friars, and are more effective with the buffs.

And if you say you want a friar because they can solo stealthers, well botted assasins can solo friars. Assasins could possibly solo every class with bots, necros too, but not really sure.

Some nice spots to hide bbs: Magmell - Trees; Goth - The tower is good, but lvl 30~ grps might find it, in which case have volume up LOUD; Aegir - The mountain; And I bet there are many more. Only problem with hiding bbs are that you have to walk a bit to get to them, which might uncover where they are.

was no real insults....but to explain myself a bit further.....

a bb's buffs don't have range except the end reg....and if i use a cleric or druid that problem is solved for example....if i will kill people from let's say "hibland" magmell <-> DC ....that's one single zone....so i have plenty of places to hide my BB maybe i wanna hide it in the forest or in the middle of a lake....the places are many...that's what i was insulting when u thought i would bring the bb sticked on me.....


but yea, friars seem most soloable of the 3 realms....but extra buffs are allway's good even more now since 25% extra buffs are in also , so i can get all that on my bb and don't give a fuck about getting it to my friar....*hope someone getting me*.....

Thats my old friars spec, a very good all round spec in my opinion. The rejuve is pants in RvR as you just can't heal quick enough but perfect in PvE, i was sole healer on many occasions and didn't have a problem keeping people alive (i got to 25 in rejuve pretty early). With a few carefuly chosen RA's you are still a very viable damage dealer, coupled with a nice SC suit you should be able to take on nightmares and spiders in DF solo with next to no downtime.

A little tip, don't use your end rejen during combat unless you're desperate. It uses quite a bit of power, if you wait till after the fight and sit down it'll only take a few seconds to rejen and hardly any power.

44 staff

15 rejuv
12 parry or so

works good and can solo a hulk with some luck.
well ofc np with a healfield I suppose...

if im 30% or lower on power i switch to mine Tartaros Gift and im @ +-80% power again

and i can heal for 315 with just a 13% healing bonus
