Free the Rogue quest (Mercal)

Hi,

Have been trying to complete the above mentioned quest, without much sucess . My faction with the Krondor giants is neutral so I can walk straight into their Fortress without aggro, but after spamming Mercal's name for over an hour he just wouldn't spawn for me. This being the case I went to Caer Diogel only to find Mercal standing next to the Instrument merchant (The NPC who gives you the quest). Does anyone know if this quest is bugged or does it sometimes take a few hours for it to reset after another person has completed it?

I waited 3 hours for Mercal to move, which i'm sure cannot be right.

Mercal's still in Diogel? He's been standing there for around 2 weeks then...

Sory got the fort wrong, Mercal is just standing in Caer diogel not Caer sidi, my MT

Excalibur Server, zone Adland. The NPC Mercal seems to be stuck in Caer Sidi. I have tried and waited several hours and he does not move from the Fort. I have been in the Giants Fortress and said his name for over 30 mins and he does not spawn, he just seems to be stuck. Is this a bug?


Hmm, This may now be my only option
