Look up Ad Aware, or Spybot S&D.

Moved to correct forum.

Try spybot S&D.

And don't use Internet explorer if you can help it, I get a lot less spyware since switching to Firebird (now called Firefox).

Indeed - as much as people may get knocked for shouting "Get Firefox!" at every opportunity, we are right.

... errr... I mean, it is genuinely a big improvement when it comes to things like Spyware evasion.

I forced my family to switch just before Christmas when Ad-Aware came up with over 1000 items of spyware, and IE got possessed by a search bar that wouldn't go away.

Firefox is really good.

Especially the middle mouse click to open a new tab. amazing. and the select-right-click-google. and the google toolbar (can add new engines; ive got google, google uk and google france - ones like imdb, dictionary.com prolly all available)

I've seen tests on the net that essentially prove that program is shite in comparison to Adaware.

I use adaware and spybot S&D. Spybots not really upgraded much but does occasionally pick up something Adaware misses. I too use Firefox and also the mozilla email client as this has spam filters built in.

I, also, use Spybot.

"Get Firefox" may be the cry amongst the less *ahem* well-informed of us. Anyone with any real class uses Opera :flame:
