Free MMO's

Decided to give Tribal War a go myself.. and by god is it slow hehe
(im on world 17, Continent 64 btw if anyone wants to do Tribe thing - Ilaya's village ofc). but im a fan of games like Heroes of Might and Magic (i play scenarios on an epic scale coz i tend to be defensive with 1 HUGE army until time is right), Age of Empires etc.. so will persist and see..

but also, while i was waiting for resources ot build up, thought hmm.. Maple Story also mentioned... so started on that too with a toon on UK1 server called Thadrin.

its quite fun!! especially for peeps who remember the Wonderboy games on the Megadrive/Genesis... tis just like them, but much much prettier!

can see me playing both games for some time yet while i hammer peeps out of their cash on king. com lol, wouldnt have known about them tho if not for this thread.. so thanks peeps

though tbh i do know quite a few people who lost their other halves because they were playing daoc more than spending time with their rl partner, but then in those cases the rl partner didnt play daoc...so i dont know if thats relevant Oo

I've never really been a fan of free MMO's but the one I think none has mentioned so far you can try is Tibia. I played it back in 99 or something, and apparently it's quite ok. Never got interested enough to keep play myself however, and instead went on to try Asheron's Call.'


Overall though I think you're probably better off just paying the monthly cost on an well established MMO. Hell, even me - an unemployed bum can afford it

I played it on and off for about 2months. And tbh I liked it but the problem being non of my friends lasted that long.

But if you don't mind the normal asian mmo grinding hell, then it is indeed a rather fun game. With a nice feel to it and some fun classes to play.
