Free Calls (again?)

seeing as my other thread strangely disappeared (duh duh duh duh etc), could someone please tell me what free dialups people are using nowadays. thanks.

I use World Online (for the time being). It is pants sometimes and brill others. Roughy £27 per month for 100 hours per month whenever you want them. No cut off period either.
I use a Diamond Supra-express 56ePro modem (un-tweaked) and I regulary get pings of 140 - 170 ms. On a bad day it jumps to 200 - 250 ms. Overall not too bad. My clan mate Fost3rs used to use NTL World but his ping was shite.
If I were you I would wait for awhile, go on BT Surftime (although it is crap) or maybe even AOL for the time being, coz there is about to be a bit of a shake up in the telecommunications industry which will (hopefully) see BT relinquishing their monopoly on the market and other companies starting to offer a viable system.
At the moment it seems most free access companies are either going bust or axing their set up coz they never bothered to research the market for unmetered access properly.

I used Barrysworld dialup when I had the old crusty 56k.

Nowadays, it's the spanking ADSL from BTOW.

I miss my modem.
