Since I tend to give away my old computer games, or feebly trade them in for tuppence at Game, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a bit of a trade/swop shop thing here.

I have a brand new, unopened copy of City of Heroes/Villains. I also have DreamFall knocking about somewhere. Anyone have a computer game they'd swop it for either one? Or a game they want to trade?

The only problem with things like this is postage.. as often sending the items safely ends up in costing almost as much as the items in question.

Possibly is swap. Without a spellchecker I am lost. In fact, when hotmail introduced one, it made me howl in despair at how many mistakes I post out to people. i aer teh profeshional autor, and all.

Postage works out at about £2 max on most of these things, sometimes less. I think that covers insurance wise, first class, items worth up to £35 ish (top of my head statistics recalled from last week's trip to the post office).

No skin off my nose if nobody wants them, or wants to swap other things. Just figured it could be nicer to post them out to someone than dumping them in the jumble were they got sold for 20p, or the hassle of ebay.

unless its special del £4.50 for a game) rm get arsey covering the cost of lost items, 1st.2ndclass standard parcels only cover upto £32 and it is a hasle.

woulda thought you woulda liked dreamfall, it has its flaws but story wise its preety damn good

Yeah, I've played that one all the way through, but the end had me gnashing my teeth, and it's not the kind of thing you play through twice.

City of heroes is something I bought to play with WPKenny, but he installed his copy and hated it, so it wasn't worth me installing mine.

I just tossed about 50 old games - I did put them up for freeby collection on IRC for a few days but no one wanted them! To be fair most of them were shite - and a decent proportion were installed from multiple floppies
