The FreddysHouse Guides are now live!

I'm back in the guiding game, but this time around expect features and more of them (within reason though, have to keep my job, and social life ).

Coming soon:
- Quake 3 Arena Guide (needs tweaking, few hours work).
- Medal Of Honor Guide (also needs tweaking, few hours work).
- Updating Counter-Strike Guide to version 1.6.
- Adding features "Doom 3 watch" and "Half-Life 2 watch".
- And ... well more to come but got to get through the above first

If you have any suggestions about things I could cover, general comments, or spot any errors please post them here.

Nice Scott. Looking good. One suggestion may be to expand the guides to other types of games. Maybe get some guest writers in?

There was a reason to stick mainly to the FPS genre before. I believe that reason no longer exists. Although others may disagree.

I've got a half finished shogun total war guide, but the game is pretty old so might not be worth completing?

I'll happily create some RTS guides, but they tend to take a lot longer to do. Biggest problem now is finding the time to create the guides, but I'll see what I can do.

Could we have a price guide of say the top 3 most competitively priced games (at the time of posting). I'm not too sure if this would be a better thing updated once a week or on a daily basis as prices can change very quickly eh. It gives the FH punters a good look at what deals they can get at least.

Problem is similar to when I post release dates. I could link to say 3 online shops to give you the price differences but you'd go for the cheapest?

Also FreddysHouse wants to remain clean and free so me linking to one shop (say GAME or Play) would seem like we are directing you to that company?

Whether one online shop is cheaper than the other makes no odds really, thats an issue for the respective companies to sort out. I fully appreciate the reluctance to commit yourself to any particular business, but your not, your just presenting a report to the regulars here, completely non biased in any way what so ever. I think FH would be presenting something to the gaming populous that would be of interest. For arguments sake the top 10 best sellers, the four leading online game suppliers (UK/EU) and a price comparison, just a report relaying facts nothing else, although I kind of get the feeling certain parties are not keen for this too happen If no its cool, also I don't mind digging in where I can, if you need help.
