Dear god this show is brilliant.

Watched it recently for the first time in ages and became completely hoocked and proceded to watch all 11 seasons in a dangerously short period of time. I have to say it's easily the best sitcom ever and recommend people to watch it again

hehe yeah fraiser is great, wish they wouldn't have canned laughter on it though I watched it all on c4 in the mornings befroe college last year...and lo and behold its all back on c4 again this year, along with everybody loves raymond (excpet me because he is an irritating little shit), just shoot me and will and pug face, i mean grace.

I never actually believed it possible but there really can be too much of a good thing, especially when its repeated over and over and over again

here's how:

Make sure the main actor has the most ANNOYING VOICE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.

Make sure the main actor has a face that you struggle to look at for more than 2 seconds at a time, without having the overwhelming urge to kick the TV screen whilst screaming "DIE!! FUGLY SPAWN OF JADE GOODY!!!!" at the top of your lungs.

Make sure the introduction music is on the same level as the teletubbies theme tune, combined with the crazy frog and mr blobby. with aqua playing in the background at the same time.

Make the main characters father into the classical grumpy "say one line, wait for canned laughter, rinse and repeat" - also ensure he looks like a constipated manequin 24/7.

Make the main character's mother looks like Judy, from richard and judy, only with an american accent. *wretching sounds*

Make the main characters brother talk like rocky balboa, and so DULL he makes ken barlow look like someone who would win awards for "MOST INTERESTING PERSON OF THE CENTURY"

Add canned laughter, stereotypical "american wife" and stereotypical plots that are so transparent you can forecast the entire episode after the first 10 seconds.

Did I mention the main actors voice is annoying? if so, mark that again, because its so annoying it requires two points to cover properly.

And thats just off the top of my head!

the actor who plays niles crane (hyde-pierce i just learned!) also puts voice in the Amazing Screw-on Heads only episode (the pilot). now thats a show i'd like to see!

Fraiser is well written for an American sitcom and very good. Not the best but still funny.

Frasier, i liked some eps here and there. Never really got me hooked tho. I usually have a problem getting hooked on comedy sitcoms tho. I prefer to just casually watch them in no order at all when i got time rather than watch episode by episode (like i do with heroes, house etc).

PS. when you talked about annoying voice at first i thought you meant The Nanny or whatever its called
