It was supposed to be 'based on actual events', and the film was spliced with the supposed "original footage" of events / interviews. However, the acting in the "original footage" is so unbearably bad and unbelievable, I just sat there in disbelief at how shite it was.

There's no proof of these things but have you considered that we may well not be able to prove that these things exist? That science lacks the capacity to explain certain phenomena?
