[Foundations] Consignment Merchants bug!

Are the consignment merchants bugged or what? Do they only understand short words like Stanley our local village idiot?

When you place items in these plonkers they only display so much of the text more often than not missing of the price completely!

Are Goa clever enough to sort this problem or will we have to wait until next year for 1.64?

The question remains though, do you know if it will be fixed soon, do you think it will be included in the next patch or you simply don't know what will happen yet?

As it stands now it's quite an important bug, i can't see the price of any piece of armour, most weapons and lots of jewels with long names. All i can see up to now is instruments's price and potions's prices (and a few pieces of armour with short names).

goa might have noticed, but it get fixed in 1.64 so it might have been to difficult to put the fix in 1.63. Ow and mythic didnt see the bug as there were enough bugs around when they had launched it and those were more urgent than this one (house disappearing and all kind of other fun stuff).

There is a simple workaround also. Just try buying the item you're interested in with a lowbie, penniless alt. Then the merchant will tell you 'you need xyz to buy that item'

yes, you can do that. Another thing that I've seen on the french servers is: the person who owns the house/merchant, places an item with a short name (eg. a plane) on his merchant and appends to it the price of the items below it. When you look at the consignment merchant window, all the items below the 'plane - <price>' are worth the price 'xxxxx' until the next 'plane - <price>' item.

This lets you use your char with the most money to wonder around without having to relog alts with no money. The downside of course is that you can buy something which cost more that the advertised price....

I played on US for 2 years and damn if bugs like these happened the SAME frigging day it would be fixed.

right click on the icon, not the writing - works ok then

not sure on the delay between 1.63 and 1.64 but it was more than a day anyway (try about a month or two)

Hmm sussed.. Goa simply don't want to patch in time with the US because they want their customers to keep playing daoc... Seems a little odd doesn't it? Exactly, we have to wait 4 months now for TOA because in exactly 4 months time people will start getting board and being looking at other games...oh but then TOA is released and that keeps us happy for another 4 months until the Frontiers expansion gets released

All very clever marketing and probably why we are so out of step with your cousins across the pond.

So, do we have to wait for 1.64 for the CM fix or not!?!

Seems noone knows the answer, I suggest everyone send a question through the inappropriately named custumer support tool (Rightnow) asking when it will be fixed.
