I wouldn't consider myself good, just getting me mojo back a bit after my hol's, can't play at all in the day but at night I seem to do ok, enourmousstormtrooper, [prometheus], jobbie, Dollie, zappeh and ch3t's are some of the best I've seen since I've been playing(october 2001), I think everyone has their off days and on days, it goes in weeks for me though

I think the worst players I've ever seen play are a bunch of guys called DrunkSh33p/DrunkenSh33p/StonedSh33p.

I have no idea who they are, but they always seemed to be bottom with a minus kill rate.



Everyone has bad days, most also have good days. But tbh, I always thought the enjoyment of the game came from getting your team a win or money - not getting an ub3r amount of kills.

Trust me, there's not much else better than picking up a raped team and getting them organised to such an extent you actually manage to give the other team a round which isn't complete rape.

Thx tremor /me blushes, TBH i was better over a year ago when I was on modem.
Back then I used to play with DE only and rape servers.
since 1.1 I cant seem to be able to, god knows why.
I think that most people get better when they watch the good players play, but dont watch me, i storm around like a looney and rely soley on fast reactions.
the best way for you to get better is record demos of decent players when you are dead, then watch them over and over till you understand why they are doing what they are doing, as I personally always do everything for a reason.
I tend to see a lot of ppl just camp for no good reason and take very odd routes.
taking the right route is very important as you can almost guarantee where the nme is at a certain time of the map.

My scores got worse.
Still can't get out of the old HPB habits, e.g. malingering at the back, moving silently everywhere in the hope you can creep up on some unsuspecting LPB and get a free shot, aiming for the body, crouching to shoot etc etc.

Feel like I'm turning the corner now but can't be sure if it's for real or if I've just lucked out on server's with no ace players.

BTW I've seen loads of 1-sided games (in favour of CT's) on Aztec recently, even worse than Dust can be. What should you do as T on Aztec ?

Sound, sound is all important. Trust me on this. Once you can listen to Cs properly, you will always know where peeps are coming. Even when they're walking, crouching... why? Bullet casings make sounds as they drop on the floor...

Bored so I'll reply to this little one

Three options...

1) Get your whole team to charge. Out the main doors, the bridge or the water, doesn't matter - just get ALL of them to do it. With luck you'll survive long enough to make it out and flank cts.

2) Camp but don't camp by T spawn. Instead hold the ramp leading down to the water on the T side, whilst making sure you aren't butt fucked from the water. Pretty easy to stay on that ramp with a Sig and muller any cts coming through the door to bridge or the main doors - they normally target any Ts further back toward the spawn or camping behind the doors, etc.

3) Change sides
