about 4 years ago I could have done these equations with a piece of paper and a pencil and maybe a calculator to speed things along. But now I can't even remember what pythag is for, the reason why is that I have never and never will use it for any practical terms, schools don't teach properly these days. When I left school I was a whizz at pythag, trig, algebra, area/volume, percentages, fractions, you name it, but the one thing I couldn't do is divide on paper, I either had to do it slowly in my head or on a calculator, because I was on holiday for the few lessons that it was taught, and believe it or not it was never taught again and so I concentrated on the advanced stuff with the rest of the class.
Bloody schools.
