Hey peeps, was scrolling through ign vault boards other day when saw a post by the Thane TL, interesting stuff about how piety can effect the dmg on your spells so here it is.

Well a thanes (well mine) are only used to soften up an enemy and not to kill him - so I don't really see much use in the extra couple of points dam. by increasing my piety with extra items - I'd rather buff up con. and str.
