Depends on what you´re doing. If you need to do a large ammount of quick edits, it´s perfect. Of course, for more detailed work, it´s useless.

Also, it´s not quite sure how flexible the thing really is. I guess the images were pretty "tuned" to demonstrate the effect, although the desert one was quite impressive.

Nope, afaik it´s a CS5 feature, so you need an upgrade.

proper dirty that you have to keep updating, i still use CS3 on my work machine, i have 4 on my lappy. The extra features are ok but not enough to keep bothering upgrading

Kinda like taking the basic need for a photoshopper, going "Yeah screw this" and sticking it on a brush.

Any time the guys take out useless work, it's good. Leaves time for more important stuff, like hidden sexul innuendo.
