For the F1 fans

Attended the opening of Silverstone Wing today, the new pit & paddock complex. Was just expecting a presentation and a small tour so only took a crap digicam, instead we were greeted with champagne reception, a complete who's-who of Motorsport (mostly British + Rossi) and a whole museum of fantastic cars such as the McLaren MP4-4 (Ayrton Senna's), Williams FW14 / FAT14 belonging to Nigel Mansell (1992) and the 2008 Mclaren of Hamilton. Absolutely awestruck by the size and style of the venue and starstruck by the legends there.

Glad you had a good time.
I loved going to Silverstone in 2009. Was a guest of Mobil 1.... there party was fab on the saturday night, and got a nice chat with Lewis, sat on his championship winning car etc.

And although the race wasnt the greatest (was a runaway and Mclaren were poor in 09 ) it was a fully enjoyable day.

Looks like your day was good though, with a nice range of cars there
