Indeed. I have no intention or desire to use this template. As I mentioned before, I'm going to start a Shadowzerker on the PvP server.

They're more suited to the 'tank-assassin' role, as Norsemen look harder than Albion's girlymen.

poisons will get body resist, but ive yet to find a US infi that would give away the Lifebane (except the Mercfiltrators ), its still alot of poisons up there that is good.. and its an dextra dmg from LB thats quite nice .. im definetly going for LB

Well my specc is 50dw 50thrust 2CS 34stealth 35envenom so I can use greater enervating, not lifebane tho, got bs for mages.
So far I like the specc, only thing im missing is the PA for a opening hit, and it feels like I deliver more damage now with my thrust styles then I did before. I like it alot, this is Kalis btw

My point exactly. For those who don't know, these are just the extra -poisons- that alchemy will give us.. and we definately want high envenom for these

Power Drain over Time poisons (“OUCH why can’t I cast that?”)
Long-term disease Damage over Time poisons (“CLERIC!”)
Attack speed reduction poisons
And finally, the mighty Bloodfire, the most powerful poison in the game, which deals both immediate damage and a drain of endurance to its unlucky target.

I do not wish to join another guild thank you and i stated there are only 2 guilds i would join if anything went bad,neither sotl or loe either even though most sotl members i get on with.

Fact of the matter is i reply in a way to the thread i do not insult other people over nothing,you share something with someone that might help them yet they might not like it but there is no need to be disrespectful backwards towards them.

Also i don't post excuses i mainly post facts from sources found from the websites.

I doubt Matt's application was recent... they seem to be recruiting all sorts these days


I suspect he was trying to say, if an infiltrator chooses not to spec Env to get to 50, that's entirely his choice and will not reduce his effectiveness on the field, as he will have other styles to compensate.

Lifebane and all it's siblings have been tamed and there's no gurantee the Alchemy line of poisons will work as promised.


A fair few players already want assassins to suffer, it's very unlikely for Mythic to give them these new poisons, without taking something away. The only alternative is, Mythic see's the future of DAoC in Stealther Zergs and wants everyone to roll an assassin.

Few months ago you mean when i was not guilded due to a misunderstanding with a guild member,but now i wish to stay where i am and help as many players as i can without having people making silly comments for no reason.

Some people just don't realise the true person in me but then again some people make me the person that i do not wish to be.I am a very helpful player as most albs i am sure have found out(no i am not bragging i have even been told by quite a few),i used to spend loads of time buffing low lvs,i even handed out 100g to most low lvs i saw,at the end of the day i don't hate any alb really and just want to play the game for fun.

The main reason i posted this thread was to give infs another spec that may be worth trying or to see what they think of it.Fine if they want to stay same spec but it was just a new thing to show them.

i guess you who did the mercfiltrator got inspired by Greydarks video.

But the strength (as you also see in Greydarks video) is the Player behind it, he uses his "low"(29+rr and items=41 iirc) stealth to draw out sb/ns and turn as they line up the PA and then when they fail he lets the DW styles rip, on others it all about positional and bladeswitching.

But if you decide to go DW (as in thrust) theres no point in going halfway .. its full or nothing at 50 (for an infi that is ) and same with Envenom/stealth, go all or just the spare points.

And dont forget the RA's Graydark has:

Mastery of Pain 4
Duelist Reflexes 1
Dodger 2
Augmented con 1
Toughness 1
Augmented Dex 2
Augmented Quickness 2
Augmented Str 1

And if you check the dmg log he posted on this page (scroll down a bit you can see what goes on (mop4 helps )
NOW im not saying mercfiltrators is bad, on the contrary i think its a very viable specc, but its no more uber than a normal 50thrust or 5 spec, it requires a different playstyle.. very different

Me personally its a playstyle i dont think im suited for, im more of the Shark swimming around the beach resort and pick of bathers .
