Every time I help someone in DF BAFFCODE!! can someone explain this code to me? seems like complete %^&%^&%^&%^& to me :/ so annoying the fact you have to avoid helping ppl to save your own ass

The normal rule is:

1-2 Attackers brings 1 mob
3-4 Attackers brings 2 mobs
5-8 Attackers brings 3 mobs
9+ Attackers brings 4 mobs

With attackers pets are included.
Hence why you see baff if you for example are helping a spiritmaster while solo.
The game will then count you as 3 persons on the next pull.

To avoid baf after you killed somone;
1 Zone, zoning will reset the attacker flag to 1 person
2 Relog, relogging will reset the attacker flag to 1 person
Or the one I usually use
3 Attack a non baf mob for example soultorn or deamonic familliar before next pull. The game will then count you as single again for the next pull.

Does that mean you can kill a grey "agro" mob and the baf code will reset?, or any"neutral" mob?.

I agree with pudz.. it is anoying to help a realm m8 on the way to Alb side of DF, and then the first drinker or shredder you try and kill solo brings 2 of them to the party....

I'm pretty sure you can kill any mob at all and it will be reset. Of course provided that you finish all the mobs that aggro on you at that time yourself without help. (Same goes for groups of course)

That was a call for help. Surely not a baf. Bwt debuffs, stun, mezz or friggs dont trigger baf code.

Erm, but the other night that happened and they got swamped by Cambions on next pull. Don't know if the group concerned had helped someone else on a pull also though.
