I know

he wasnt as Trem said the dog was enjoying it and I do believe Trem wouldnt lie about it and its fairly easy to see if a dog is enjoying something or not.

The dog gets attention when you are doing this, he gets to rip stuff apart afterwards. So for the dog its win-win (unless off course he is afraid of getting covered with the foil, but again that is fairly obvious to notice).
