I think the reason so many people are open to hearing about Jesus in the World of Warcraft is because the majority of people who play the game are lonely kids who don't have any friends.

Seriously, I've had good experiences with Christian gamers going back to my days playing Mech Warrior 4. I always found the clan named Christian Men Online to be good fun and quality people.

I'm not sure I agree with them (Baptists) using the MMO format to convert people to Christ; although I suppose it's less dangerous than the US Army using America's Army to recruit people to fight real wars!

But the bit about "if i find somthing that looks occult i auction it off on ebay and give to the church" seems to me like the pastor in this place has hired all the kids that go to his church to make him money by playing online.

I dont know what it is but when i read some of that passage it made my skin crawl as if they were doing somthing incredibly wrong and if someone came up to me in daoc and said "hello brother have you seen the light of jesus" i would be tempted to /delete Y E S roll a scout and spend the next 2 years victimising him.

Sorry but if your that wound up in your beleif system that you feel it necesary to come into a ROleplay environment and force it on others then you need to do some reading outside of the good book or consider that the first page of the bible has been omited.

Religion is a way of controling peoples minds glad i have my own beleifs and glad i dont force them on others.

Ps Young Billy should probbly consider seeking counciling for all the abuse he seems to have been put under. Social services case if i ever saw one.

hey all i just signed up on this sight about 4-5 days ago and i cant post threads yet and i need to know something... i use ot play DAoC and i quit and am now instaling WoW on my comp as we speak and i need ot know what char would be best to start the game out on and that is good. i loved casters on DAoC mainly cabby.. but i have heard that the mages and WoW aint that great.. i also like shammys and hunters frm DAoC. are they anythign alike in WoW as they are in DAoC? and what would be a fun char to start the game out on any info would be awsome if yall wouldnt mind helping me out thanx!!! :worthy:
