You can roll up your sleeves and get some relics back.

Relics is not RvR imho it's ZvZ(zerg vs zerg) and therefor should be removed from game

imho ZvZ is just as much RvR as what I think you refer too.

You like the group vs. group princip in RvR, no adding etc, right?

That belongs more on a PvP server imho, RvR is all Mids vs. all Albs vs. all Hibs tbh.

SB`s heading out of mpk HW, off to take out the inner doors of Excal RK ;p

That imho was the biggest deciding factor on this raid getting those inner doors down and the relics out while albs where outside farming the peeps at the doors. Relics were long gone from Excal by the time they reacted.

I make you sick because i dont want to come fight with you in a online game? I have played for fun and when its not fun anymore then i won't play anymore. And losing relics is not the reason. Although it didnt make me want to come back. I must admit though. Personally i think its more fun to win then lose. And we all know how difficult it will be to win vs those mid guild groups in emain. Im not after constant victories. I like those challenging fights and not those when i know i will win or lose this fight. I might be a lamer(in some eyes) who plays in emain mostly but thats i choose to play the game and please respect that too. I dont flame those people who pve or those who likes keepraids.

And i know its realm vs realm and not player vs player. What you mean with this?

I played cs before daoc but i never cheated. And i will not go back to play cs because it isnt fun.

What i mean is that there are more to this game than running around emain collecting "frags". After all, relics and relicraids are a major part of this game.

And if you can't take this game for what it is then perhaps this is not the game for you. (Not aiming this at you personaly Fadeh, just explaining what i ment)

For me Relics is what this game is all about.
RvR is fun but is still midgaard V the other realms and there are keeps to conquer but Relics the onces that matters.

Imho it's not fun to fight 8 ppl with 24 people and you know you just won because of your numbers not because of your skills.
If you kill 8 people with 8 people you won because your group has better players/teamplay.
FG vs FG is only fun or maybe FG vs 2 fgs it's no challenge to win with zerg
But you are prolly like most of the midgardians . you cant take a loss you must always have the numbers on your side

Sometimes its nice, but remember taht others look at this as a war. In a war its no holds barred, no rules.
If I were to fight a war, I'd be making damn sure that I maximise my chances to win.

Of course, when you run 1fg and you are wining a fight, its not nice to have people jumping in, but its part of the game for me.

btw, I feel really sowwy for albs, I really do, so underpopulated and grossely underpowered.. no love from Mythic.. nope.. lol get real dudes and stop beeing sour loosers because mids once again have proven their real strenght here on prydwen, organization. Many Albs are complete tossers and the realm is filled with egos, ofc you cant accomplish much then. Oh and how the hell you expect to keep relics when you dont bother to check up when keeps are attacked etc is beyond me. You have tons of stealthers, why didnt they report in that mids was RRing? Oh right, they cant see all the way to HW from amgE.. haha

Dead wrong. Actually, sounds like you are playing the wrong game if you genuinely believe this.

Relics take a large chunk of any realm to coordinate an attack. They basically stimulate a massive group of people to capture the flag.

Relic Raids, keep assault/defence and realm defence are what I like best. Always have. Rarely see me running around the Emain racetrack but if there's keeps to be taken or more strategic stuff to be done I'm like a pig in shit. I'm fairly active in RvR but you won't ever see me at the top of any pole of weekly RP.

Was camped in Bled last night and keeping a close eye on events in Odins, peeps may have noticed Feds claimed it. Feds could have moved down to the MGs to camp with our buddies but we stayed out of the RP because thats not what we were there for (really proud of Feds for being patient and having their act together last night, genuinely proud to be part of this bunch of people). I didn't say anything at the time because peeps would probably have laughed at my paranoia but its not by coincidence Feds were parked beside the biggest and varied supply of Siege equipment we might need to get our hands on just in case. Turns out, we had to leave Odins at short notice with some toys.

I support Mid in RvR. No single or individual guild. Midgard. The team I play for. You'll find many other Mids are exactly the same.

If you really think the game is not about army vs army then you are truly going to hate ToA because the abilities in that are meant for large armies in battle.

so its fine for PE to run round emain in 2fg of high rr chars, camp mpk, kill everything and anyone who comes out of the pk, run mmg, kill any survivers, rest up and do the same again?

we ran a fairly decent pickup group in emain a couple of weeks ago and couldent even get to mmg without being jumped by the 2fg PE roaming. every pickup group we saw, you killed, so people just stopped going to emain untill you got bored and either went out in 1fg, or EL slapped you a few times.

people talk about skills and so forth in this game, skill has nothing to do with it. team work, communication and luck are the major factors here. i've seen PE take down a minimid zerg twice in one night because they worked efficiently together and knew what they were doing.

faderullan: use your knowledge of the game, groups, classes, MA and your blaitently good leadership / communication qualities to go and take back the relics instead of not playing rvr because you lost them.

well thing is, Im pretty sure he actually would make an excellent leader, he's skilled and know alot about the game for sure, but my guess is he cba to get involved or simply dont want to. We all play the game different ways mate. I cba to lead anything, I dont have the patience with people that is needed and have a terrible temper very often, hence nobody would follow me

Some are born leaders with diplomatic skills and courage and at the same time an enormous patience, and believe me, its needed when big things are going on Leading aint an easy thing at all. Jupitus was a damn good fella at this.
