A big reason for this is that Platini wank face going on about making teams need 8 english players in the squad. The money for English players will only get worse imo. If Bent was spanish he would cost 6 - 8 million.

That player is fucking superb, in form he can easily turn a game around. If they sold him for 18 mil. £, they'd have made some extra money for him and have Malouda come in, making them 3 £ up and a more consistent player in, yet I don't think Malouda is as good as Robben when Robben is at his peak, he just rarely is these days...
