Anyone catch the game? United were just phenomenal, the passing and movement was incredible at times. Villa tried hard and had a few chances but United just blew them away. Our best performance of the season by a mile.

Very good performance, its looking good for a few years for us. Rooney was superb, but so were the majority of players.

Villa caused us a few problems but the desire from the united players was clear to see.

Worrying to see Giggs walk off especially with Nani out.

I am one of the only people that think Rooney is overrated and one of your weaker players he has what 10 goals, imagine what you would do with a 30 goal a year striker and Ronaldo.

Rooney contributes more to our play than another other person in the team, I have seem him a good few times this season at Old Trafford and his work off the ball (which you don't see on TV) is incredible. He is constantly in motion and working the defenders to open up spaces for United to play into, United without him are but a pale imitation.

The only thing wrong with Wayne is some very sloppy finishing this season, last season he got 23 and by rights this season he should have had 40 because he has had some unbelieveable service but is consistently overplaying it instead of doing what comes natural and blasting the ball at goal. Strikers are supposed to be selfish and he has been far from that this season, infact he has been charitable to point where sometimes I scream at him for trying to play Ronaldo or Tevez in when he had a great chance himself.

Was a great game, United's football was so slick and quick no team could stand up to it. Was a joy to behold. The whole attacking area was moving constantly, the ebb and flow was unbelievable and it no wonder Villa couldnt keep up with the play.

That said they forged some good chances theirself and could of had a couple, but they never looked like they would be able to win the game. O'Neil was even in awe at uniteds play and basically said the good thing from the game is that he can take the DVD from the match and tell them thats what they need to aspire to :)

As for Rooney was on fire at start of the season, injury hampered him and not seemed the same since he returned... that said, I rate him incredibly highly, not because of his scoring ability, which lacks a little still, but for his creation ability. He if directly creates chances, or moves in away that creates the space. On top of this his work rate is amazingly high and he never gives up.

With that said, when it comes to England, he cant play upfront alone because there is nobody that can play the support role as well as the united attacking players. He needs a 4-4-2 formation to work internationally.

Arsenal did well no doubt about it, Bolton deserve to be relegated for letting that one slip though, thier defence is a complete joke. Fair play to Arsenal though, they could have sunk without a trace at 2-0 down.

A little bit - but we picked up 3 points and at this point in the season its far more important than how you win.

But thats how you have played all season ;)

We were are poor at the moment its like we have a big weigh round are necks everything abit slower every pass not right. Im not sure what the difference between now and a month ago is but other than AC Millan we have not been ourselves even before teh Eduardo thing. We have had bad luck the last few games with offsides, but even so we should be abel to cope with teams like Birmingham thats what will lose us the league.

Even if we beat ManUre and Chel$ki and Chel$ki beat ManUre i do not see the Manks dropping the other point that will let us catch near 20 goals up.
