Hard luck Arsenal, you played really well but couldn't get the killer goal. You edged the match but football is cruel sometimes and we got 2 more points than we probably deserved.

How many times have Arsenal conceded a lead in recent games?

Can't see United slipping up the way they're playing but it'd be nice to nick 3 points off em at the Bridge ;):D

Arsenal deserved to win, outplayed us in midfield until Anderson & Tevez came on.

You need luck in this game, Arsenal's ran out weeks ago.

Pressure now on Chelsea with 2 games in 4 days, although I fully expect them to get at least 4 points.

Without tempting fate i fully expect us to collect 3 points tommorow - although i hope the depth of the squad is used so we have as many fresh legs for Everton as possible.

Quite handy to have 10 days off until the United game after that mind you.

Today reinforced our need for a killer striker i will be surprised if Wenger does not buy now VanPersie has missed nearly a full season during the last 2 Adeb is hit a miss and Bendtner is a bad version of Adeb. If we had a truly killer striker god knows where we would be with a killer striker.

and Bendtner is a bad version of Adeb. striker.

I dont want to be nationalistic here, but Bendtner was more of a threat than Ade, even though he only played 15mins.

But yeah, he's by no means a cynical goalscorer. Imagine if they had Hunterlaar up there.

Arsenal deserved more from this game. They are a team with the right attitude. However, (as much as I don't like to say the biggest cliche of the season, again) Arsenal need more leaders and more grit. Wenger can't simply wait for the players to mature over night or over a season or two. Arsenal want, and deserve silverware now. He needs to buy some leaders and more cover for his squad in the summer (again, sorry for just repeating everyone else's words, but they are true!).

Huntelaar is the one, whoever gets him will be the real deal next season.

I think theres been some speculation about the next manager for us being handed a big transfer kitty - his name was a possibility.

That said - hasn't he been in trouble a few times this year for spitting at other players?

a linesman if I remember correctly.

Still, he's one of the best youngsters around. He has technique, strength and pace. He needs to work with his finishes though :)

Whats happened to Carlos Vela at Arsenal? He was touted as the next big superstar. I know hes on loan somewhere. Is it to do with work permit issues?

yep :) he's playing for Osasuna. He has a spanish passport now afaik, so he will be back in england when the season is over.

Hope so - he's been playing a fair bit in the reserves as far as i know and netted a few goals. Not seen much of him as theres not a great deal on youtube but he looks to have a fair bit of pace and aerial ability so he could come good.

Though at 19 its not just the football he's got to adjust to so i think he will be eased into it in the same manner Ivanovic has been with the reserves.

Sheva is IMO definately on his way out along with a few others, which will hopefully pave the way for some new young talent to come through.

I reckon Chelsea will be lucky to get 10mill for Sheva. His stock has gone downhill. If Drogba goes too that leaves, Kalou and Pizzaro as strikers. Chelsea should go all out for Benzama imo, but would he be able to hand the pressure as main striker?

Chelsea will miss Drogba so much, unless they change system, who out there could do a job Drogba does?

And Anelka :p

Our striker situation pretty much hinges on whether Drogba stays or goes. I think Sheva and Pizzaro will both be out on their arse in the summer. Kalou is an ok striker but he hasn't got that physical presence Drogba has.

I would imagine they will go for one of the big guys like Benzema or Huntelaar to fill the gap left by Drogba but i think it largely depends on who the manager is at the end of the season.

You talk as if Drogba is definatly going to leave. Has there been a deal done already?

Although this is playing into the media's hands, there has been a multitude of things going around since Mourinho was shown the door in September.

First he wanted out, then he wanted to stay, then he wanted out again, then he wanted to stay.

I sincerely think he'll leave in the summer. Although he's a great player it does nothing but destabilise the dressing room reading these reports. That said i would love for him to stay but i do not see it becoming a reality.

Great buy imo, been very patient with his time on the pitch and playing very much as a team player, something that Drogba lacks at times.

Be interesting that - BBC says Klinsmann has been linked with the job, but i thought he was due to join Bayern in the summer?

another nearly season for Arsenal, disappointing :(

The fact that they have been ahead in their 2 big matches recently , only to give away a goal within minutes is really frustrating, and I just dont see Gallas as captain atm, theres no leadership there.

Walcott's run against liverpool though, outstanding. I hope thats a sign of things to come.
