Been a decent enough game, but Man Utd have seemed really comfortable and i wouldnt even say they are close to top gear.

Newcastle been giving it a good go but they still are not looking like a team with confidence, and until they find it they are not going to get results that they want.

Yeah they look like lost sheep, they really need a general in there to give them a rocket up the arse.

A win here for United means Man U could win the league beating Arsenal at OT can't believe the fuss being made over a 5 point gap like a weekend can't change everything ;)

There was always going to be twists and turns along the way, the media are at fault they build it up when one of the teams drop points.

If Utd win tonight it will be they are back in the title race blah blah.

Loads of games to go, and all 3 teams will drop points.

Nice of you to say but I think with better service Torres could be something special as well, he is doing great already in a sub-par attack. You need rid of Pennant and Kewell asap though, not even close to being world class.

Hmm, Keitan, please dont go into clueless mode again. There is absolutely no need.

Ronaldo is not having a lucky season, he has been working hard on and off the pitch and it shows. He has been inspirational, simple as. He has focused energy on scoring goals instead of showing off as much as he used too. And as such he is putting the ball in the back of the net more. You can see this by his cutting in and striking, as opposed to his constant stepovers > crossing.
And how has he achieved it? Luck? No. Hard work. For the past couple of years he has been the first person to the training ground, and the last person to leave. It is hard work and class that has him rated as one of, if not the best player in the world currently.

Torres is a class player and needs some better supply. He also needs to be give a clear run in the team and he would clearly be up with Ronaldo and Adebayor in the topscorer runners. You can blame your manager for that though.
Torres willindeed show his quality alot more, but he needs to get played. Kuyt is useless in comparison, and I still feel that a Torres & crouch combo is what should be used week in week out. This covers every attacking base you could want. Pace, power, skill, long ball+flick on, balls over the top, balls to feet, playing with back to goal. You name it, that combo can cover it.

And Gohan is merely giving an assesment, not changing teams. Just like up until the past couple of weeks I assessed Arsenal as having the team that plays the best style of football. Nothing wrong with giving your opposition credit.

I feel sorry for him, he inherited a shit side with rock bottom morale. Fat Sam has to take the majority of the blame, he spent good money on crap.

it looked promising for us, we went at man utd and looked to be up for it but as usual our defence lets us down.

ah man, Its all going Pete Tong for Newcastle :(

I just want to get this season over with so the team can get some rebuilding done in the summer. Thankfully we're bad but theres a few teams in the Prem who are worse, so we'll still be in the Prem next season.

Being 13th is bad enough, being only 2 pts above Sunderland is considerably worse

you are only 6 points above the relegation zone.. i wouldnt get too comfortable as that 10 games? without a win. whilst a fair number below you are actually picking up wins here and there. And as is well known, better to lose 2 and win 2, then lose 1 and draw 3. etc.

the only thing we have going for us is that there are only 2 relegation spot and quite a few teams to play for them
