Pfft you could have at least given some more information to people on a couple of important points.... mainly database issues.

1) There a data error in that spurs get 1million per game for 50 games on the defoe transfer. This needs to manually changed to 1million AFTER 50 games and need to save it as a new database. To change it open editor, load 8.02 database, search portsmouth, go to fianances and change the clause on the defoe transfer.

This is annoying, but if you dont do it pompy will go broke and spurs become rich rather quickly.

2) Unfortunately there still an issue with the game messing up some players stats on new games. It raises or reduces stats quite badly for some players. Ie C.Ronaldo is rather crap compared to alot of players (ie Elano is miles better in general )

3) If continuing new game with new patch but got load of young players, be wary as their stats could reduce rapidly due to a change in the weighting system.

However the match engine seems much better to me, as long as you dont abuse the ease of scoring from corners with a certain setup.

I didnt have an issue when continuing my previous game on the new patch. My quality young regens were still the same after 2weeks, people noted it went down in a matter of a day. So think i got away with that as most my team was young.

Only problems are the database, easily fixed. Just need them to rerelease the patch corrected and I feel it will be alot better then 8.01 (That said my tactic always seemed to work throughout 8.00, 8.01 and now 8.02 so dont notice much difference.)

edit: one the best things is my single MC does not get booked in every match anymore and gets a decent rating \o/

The only signings I made in the first 3 years were Aquino, Breno, Lulinha, Le Tallec and marin who were all loaned to antwerp and cost peanuts. Oh, I also got 28m for Vidic and Bought Aguerro with this money. By the 4th season I had millions so splashed out on Kaka and Mountinho.

Total Club Manager 2004 is the best! I've played them all but still prefer this one - can be simple to use and yet still complex and challenging. Still managing Bolton at 2028.

and there a "cheat" or rather a shitty exploit that fmm users have found.

Basically, pre match you select your team, before you submit it though you use FM modifier to put players fitness at something like 32000 (max normally is 10000 for 100% fitness).
You then submit team and start the game, and those players, although show something like 70% fitness, actually play like superman. Use this on some attacking players and you can make a conference team beat someone like chelsea 1st team in excess of 10-0.

Quite comical, but wholely unrealistic.

just tested and torres's condition went to 1% hes had ALOT of chances and not bagged one only set it to 20k tho

Ive adapted my tatic around Torres/Aguero/Gerrard and its working very well... 12 point lead in the prem atm and won the league cup

Why are you bragging about winning trophies when you clearly cheated your way to them by editing your squad into a super team. It is utterly meaningless, you didn't win a thing, the editor did all the work.
