So its the final day of the EPL and all the interest is on the bottom half of the table. So make your predictions on who goes down.

Personally I think it all depends on the West Ham game. Being that the chairman of the other clubs have met in relation to these lately I can see the Sheffield/Wigan game being played out to a draw until at least half time. If by that point West ham are losing I can see a shocking 1-0 win to Wigan, thus putting West Ham in the bottom three.

But of course, no such agreement will really exist if looked into :p

Not sure who I want to go down though, with everything West Ham been upto they should be down, but out of the 3 at risk, they the only ones that actually play decent football at times.

But hey, I like a good conspiracy so West Ham be the team going down

Well i want Utd to beat West Ham today and hopefully Wigan stay up. Mainly because of the 1995 season when they stopped us winning the league, and the West Ham fans were celebrating as if they had won the league.

So today i hope its payback!

West Ham to stay up because Tevez deserves to be playing in the Prem, (regardless of all the transfer dribble). He has just about single handedly dragged West Ham out of relegation and puts 100% in every game.

Wigan and Sheff Utd arent in the drop zone because of West Ham, they are there because after 37 games they deserve to be there......

Shame the half finished so badly for us :(

Not quite sure of what the keeper was doing, hesitation cost us then but it wasnt the strongest of tackles by brown. Just a bit sloppy.

Still, lets see how much Fergy wants to win this game. Would like to see him bring Ronaldo on at this point. Save Giggs and Scholes till about the 60th minute unless we back in it then leave them till 70th minute.... feel that they really need a run out before the final to be at their sharpest. Also it be nice for the fans to see the top names come on for the last game of the league season.

Given that, West Ham defence been solid enough. Need to make something more of the final ball.

GO ON THE HAMMERS! :D

Althoug Utd were all over them, top defending from them, and Tevez has just epitomised his last 9 or however many games with that goal :p

West Ham to stay up, Wigan to go down.

The one word half-time verdict from our team of reporters:
Blackburn 1-1 Reading - "Corners"
Bolton 1-1 Aston Villa - "Uninspired"
Chelsea 0-0 Everton - "Abysmal"
Liverpool 0-1 Charlton - "Lacklustre"
Manchester United 0-1 West Ham - "Surprising"
Middlesbrough 2-1 Fulham - "Peach"
Portsmouth 0-0 Arsenal - "Drab"
Sheffield United 1-2 Wigan - "Exhilirating"
Tottenham 2-1 Manchester City - "Open"
Watford 0-1 Newcastle - "Pointless"

Yep just about sums you lot up, Abysmal lmfao

And thats a fucking Joke Staying in the premiership will be woth 50million pounds so 5 mil is fuck all.

A second division club with a secutary doing transfers forgets this paper work and gets docked 10 points like the FA Rules say. A premiership team with 30 members of staff and some one employeed to do this stuff dont do it and the FA go and break there own rules and do not dock the points because its not fair on the fans. What a load of shit they have just got another set of fans relegated. The FA are a buch of arseholes.

SHEFFIELD United manager Neil Warnock launched a furious attack on Sir Alex Ferguson after the Blades crashed out of the English Premier League today (AEST).

Warnock's side was relegated on goal difference after losing 2-1 to Wigan Athleitc, while West Ham took advantage of Ferguson's decision to play a weakened team by winning 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Warnock was bitterly disappointed to hear Ferguson had left out Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

"I'm disappointed with selections," he said. "I must admit I thought Sir Alex would play a stronger team than that but it was not to be.

"To see them celebrating on the pitch leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

"What goes around comes around. I'm looking forward to the Cup final."

oops i don't think he was very happy then ;p

He has no cause for complaint, United ran West Ham ragged and should never have lost that game in a million years. 3 goal line clearances and over 20 shots on target say Warnock should stfu and look at his own result.

I see his point though i would rather have seen you guys start the first team get 3 nil up and then make the changes to rest the big guns

Im not saying what he did was wrong just what i would rather Man U played all out first rather than bring the big players on later

Of course but I watched the entire 90 minutes and West Ham were utterly dominated, if one of those goal line clearances had been different and gone in then West Ham were a beaten side. Football is just funny like that sometimes. At the end of the day the stats speak for themselves, 31 shots (21 on target) and 58% possesion plus 14 corners. Fergie fielded a side that should have won the game and if not for Benayoun and Tevez we would have won by a considerable margain. As it is West Ham were bloody lucky but they didn't beat United because Ronaldo/Scholes/Giggs didn't start, they beat us because Van der Sar once again dropped a clanger and because Benayoun twice cleared off the line. Warnock needs to shut the fuck up and watch the game, then he needs to apologise and own up to the fact that the Blades would have been safe if his own side could have beaten a very poor Wigan. They couldn't and the blame lies with no one else but him.

As for 21 shots on target and it just being one of those games that has been Arsenals season ;)

I wonder if big Dave Whelan is still going to lend his support in action against the FA for not deducting points from West Ham. Bet he doesnt.

Fergie should of put his full strength team out to relegate West Ham, afterall, wasnt it west ham who denied united the title when blackburn won it? Sure it was.

I agree but the side he put out were good enough, just good fortune saved West Ham.
