Oh boo fucking hoo..

15years ago Denmark won the European Championship.. This summer we're not even going! Cry more about your worldclass players tbfh!

"We're lacking a keeper, Gerrard and Lampard aren't playing the bestests they can and why can't we just win all? We're Engeland fo' fucks sake!"

No wonder all your worldclass players aren't performing at their best, when your media is doing nothing but telling them how much they suck, over and over again after tiny mistakes! You ppl are NEVER pleased unless you fucking win the cup are you?!

Cry me a fucking river tbh!

Fuck off you prick!

Sucks about the England result, but nice to see Greece top of their group. Would be funny if they won it again.

not exactly :p McClaren has done a lot to undo Sven's fuck ups, we really needed to win every game left to qualify, which it looked like we may have done except for yesterday.

lol@the worlds best midfielder Steven Gerrard. id of put that away.

No complaints from me. People can argue their penalty wasnt a penatly, but fat boys goal was offside anyway so that evens it out.

Come on in Jose Mourinho, england needs you......

I have a sneaky suspicion that playing for England, is no longer the pinnacle of a players career, or at least the players dont feel that way. Cast your minds back to the days of pearce, adams, butcher, Barners, keegan etc. When the national anthems were played you could see how pumped up they were, at times singing at the top of the voices. Now a days the players look totally uninterested. The fact they all complained about giving their £50k england match fees to charity says it all.

quite right, which is why i still think we should give more championship players a chance, at least they want to play. Prem players are all about OK magazine and weekly wages these days.

With the exception of Beckham (who is the one person I do believe is proud to represent his country) when was the last time you saw an England player kiss his badge?

remember the game some time back when England had to win to play worldcup or europan cup or what ever it was, anywho, beckham worked his ass off in that game, have not ever seen a player work so hard during a game

that was fun to see

Agree with Marc, non of the players look proud at all. Sure Terry and the rest of them talk a good omg I am so proud to be here speech. But they do not show it.

I though Rooney was onside last night, with regards to the penalty are we forgetting they had a perfectly legitimate goal disallowed at Wembley which would have made it 1-1 at the time. Shit happens it is football.

Simple fact is we lack real depth in the most important parts of the pitch (the wings) SWP distribution is fucking shocking, he is great against Estonia but then shit I would be. Joe Cole spends to much time pissing around with it (he lost the ball just before the penalty) Robinson needs a kick up the arse. Stick Carson in for me, inexperienced yes but hes a good fucking shot stopper.

I would like us to not qualify merely for the kick in the teeth it will provide. This current crop need to understand that to demand the respect and acclaim that they think they should be getting you have to work your arse off.

To be honest they should stop paying players to play on the national team, sure give them comfort and luxurious hotels and such, but money? They don't need fucking money, that way you'll also see who wants to play for their team.

That way the team could also hope for some proper backup from their own country, as everybody would know they were there to represent.

Everyone keeps saying Mourinho for england, now there ain't no chance he is gonna manage england at this stage imo, but if he did, the first thing he would do is get Lamps back in the team (where he belongs) and get him playing the way he does for chelsea. Now you sure you guys want that? coz i thought lamps was a load of shit and didn't deserve his shirt?

Hes not shit. It just seems him and Gerrard cant gel for england. Oh and if you think Mourninho would be so un professional as to pick lampard, just on the basis he used to be his club manager you are wrong.

Would be more on the basis he is the best goal scoring midfielder in the world, and Mourinho knows and appreciates what he brings to the team.

And this Lamps aint performing bollocks.. okay he aint played he's best recently, but what has gerrard/rooney/robinson plus others brought to the team in their last 3-4 england matches? fuck all basically, but its lamps that gets to sit on the bench/boo'ed by numptys! not being singled out at all.

Fact is, Lamps has scored 20 plus goals a season for the last 3 years for chelsea, even the almighty gerrard cant match that. and people are trying to say he aint good enough for england? got more to do with the manager not having a fucking clue what to do/where to play him imo. get someone with a clue, i.e Mourinho and lamps will be as good for england as he is for chelsea.

I'd love to see how the opinion of Mourinho from english fans changed if he were to become manager and delivered success.

Your original post implied Mourinho would pick him on the basis he used to manage him. Its all very well saying Lamps scores goals for chelsea, but he doesnt transfer that to the international stage. What is even more interesting is that Lampard has scored 1 more goal than Gerrard for england, in more or less the same amount of games. Also, add this to the fact that whenever Gerrard and Lampard have played together, its normally Gerrard who sits back thus giving Lampard the same role he plays at chelsea.

They are both good players, but in my opinion, if there is only one place available id give it Gerrard, by a nose.

IMO McClaren needs to find a player who will complement Lampard in the same respect that Barry does for Gerrard.

WTF why was Rooney doing the throw-ins? he was supposed to play behind Owen and feed him the through ball fucking stupid, imo McClaren could not organise a piss up in a brewery:D and why take Rooney in the squad, the guy is just too fucking stupid to play for England.

Name me another english striker who could of controlled the ball on his chest like Rooney did at such speed and finish like that.

I cant. Maybe owen, but he was the one who flicked it on.

Oh and Rooney was taking the throw ins because Russias left winger is like shit off a shovel and didnt want Richards getting caught out. Maybe SWP should of taken them, but maybe he wasnt strong enough to get a good ball into the box

When I saw Rooney take the first Throw-in, I was screaming at the tv, he should not be taking them ffs. He is a striker, it's not fucking rocket science, it's like a goal keeper taking the corners,it doesn't fucking make sense, imo Rooney is just too immature to play for England. Whenever he feels the pressure he can't handle it, imo he is just a thick scouser

Whilst i dislike Rooney for his "once a blue always a blue" shite. To say he cant handle the pressure is a bit unfair. In front of 80,000 russian fans, in a couldron of hostility, to take the ball like he did and finish like that shows he can handle the pressure
