I will infor Arsenal fans to stop hoping for the best in the future and stop talking about the potential of our players and instead we will now just say we hope Bill Gate buys us so we can just buy our way back to the top.

Is that better? Arsenal fans know our squad is not perfect but Wengers way of buying youngsters to try make a squad is our best chance of succes

My point was, you cant just rely on these youngsters with potential. If they dont fulfil that potential then Arse will have to buy anyway.

I think Arsenal need 2 players this summer, 2 pretty big names and i think we culd really challenge.

First we need a replacement for vieira, we havnt recovered from that yet, if we had an essien or sum1 it wuld be great. second we need an Eto or Nistelrooy type of player,sum1 who bangs them in.

thing is whether or not we shuld gamble on this, because the players we have do have the potential to be world beaters. Denilson, clichy etc, its just we dont know whether they will fulfill it or not. I think next year will be big for arsenal, if we focus on getting sum consistancy in the league and building the teamwork up i think we culd really challenge for next year. Just need 1-2 big signings perhaps.

Thats what Diaby is for replacing Viera and untill he broke his leg he looked like he could do it.

Even if Wenger wanted a Essien or a Ballbag type of player they will not come to us we will not pay 100k a week to every player.
