Is Jose having a laugh? He said Chelsea controlled the game and dominated at times, the stats and pundits say otherwise.

You get worse during the school holidays, I suggest your dad keeps you away from fizzy drinks and anything with artificial colours in as it obviously caused your A.D.D. to act up.

Shank game but Chelsea did another England on penalties.

Nani and Malouda look very promising though.

Chelsea rarely threatened, but without Drogba they will struggle. Malouda look very good and in fairness Pizzaro got himself about.

They might struggle though without Terry for 4 weeks and considering one of those games is against Liverpool 3 points dropped so early on could be vital. Seems that there is still problems defensively for Chelsea though with regards to subs, Cole went off and Essien had to fit back into defence. he was also quiet by his usual standards.

Same With Man Utd, a few players that probably wont be starting the majority of games. Evra looks very sharp again, as did Nani when he got settled in. Rio was weak for the Chelsea goal but in fairness to Malouda he stayed strong and got his reward.

What fucked me off the most about the match is Jamie Rednapp. He wants to stick his dick in Chelsea so bad. Everything that came out of his mouth was Chelsea this Chelsea that Cole was amazing Lampard is so special blagh blagh blagh. Lampard was poo today the amount of times he lost posession was insane. It was also nice to see Ashley Cole moan like fuck everytime Chelsea didnt get a freekick or a throw in. Nothing better than seeing that twat moan.

I respect what Chelsea have acheived the last few seasons, I just hate the style of football the play.

I missed this game but watched the Liverpool one they are lucky to be starting the season without a few 3 match bans.

It was never a penalty

Ashley cole has always been a tit when it comes to decisions, he's a good player but for me Bridge is better overall.

Defensive problems come from injuries, again. The defenders injured list is now Ferreira, Johnson, Bridge, Terry. Absolutely awful. Hopefully the Alex deal comes through asap because he looks a lot more dominant than Ben Haim (from what i saw of Copa america anyway).

Essien & Mikel, but also Carrick and O'Shea were very quiet. But at the end of the day it's a pre-season friendly in which you can't really draw that much out of.

We missed Scholes badly that is for sure, his range of passing and interplay creates so many openings for us. O'Shea worked hard but Carrick's workrate is shite at times, for that reason I think our strongest midfield duo is going to be Scholes/Hargreaves as thier styles should compliment each other well.

As for Chelsea, losing Terry is a blow. Ben Hiam is a pusher is clearly isn't in the same class as Terry or Carva. Getting Alex would be a fantastic signing and give you 3 world class central defenders. Just going back to Ben Hiam, I would play Essien in defence but him, his lack of pace leads to loads of pushing and this is going to cost Chelsea alot of penalties if they aren't careful.

You only have to go back to the Utd v Bolton games last year, Rooney destroyed Haim.

Better than the FA cup final but still not a great game. Malouda looks very good, but i'd take Robben over him, theatrics et al. United looked very strong. However the style of football they play is so fast and exciting that it must be very hard to maintain over a whole season. They did it last year because Giggs, Scholes, Ronaldo and Rooney had very good seasons. The way that Chelsea play make them far more consistant over the whole season, even if some of their big players arnt on top of their game. If i were a chelsea supporter i would be quite pleased if super Frank super goals fucked off to Barca for 15million+ after trying to make the club give him a stupidly long and well paid contract considering his age. Yes mates, Chelsea through and through................ as long as you pay me £130,000 a week on a 8 year contract.

The thing with Robben is he very very rarely gets a good run of games without picking up a knock. He's also very inconsistent.

Malouda looks more suitable for the physicality of the EPL.

Seems Pizzaro was carrying a minor back problem yesterday as well, hopefully we'll see better of him.

Couldn't agree more, Robben is a great talent but his injury record is a real worry in such a physically demanding league as ours. Malouda looks a much better long term prospect.
