i like to think of it similar to the Ronaldo vs Messi debate.

Ronaldo is the better all round player but Messi for me is better because of the pure devastation he can inflict on anyone. Therefore i voted Maradona

This is always goig to be difficult because of the difefrences in play in both continental leagues and time spans. That makes it difficult because foreign players weren't used as much in Pele's time in Western Europe but they were more used when Maradona was about.

Maradona was good and had a major stage to play on with Argentina, but personally I feel his actual club career wasn't that good other than his Napoli times.

Pele also had the major stage to play on with Brazil. He definitely did some amazing things. Didn't he win 3 world cups playing? Has anyone else managed that?

Best was obviously amazing in the English league which is the only one I know even a bit of at that time. He obviously played for Northern Ireland which didn't give him the international stage to play on. His famour quote ofc rocks; “I spent 90% of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted.”

The decision is hard - Maradona hasn't done enough for me (and I don't like is cheating Hand of God bullshit) Pele clearly has the more achievements, but he had a sooo much better team around him.

I'm going with Best, for dominance at club level, because he might well have rocked the world at international level and for his alcoholic style
