duck, loads of stuffing, roast potatoes....

yummy, love all the food you get to nosh over Christmas.

This ^^ Love duck or goose, about the only time I'll have them is at Christmas. Also love all the trimmings that come with Christmas dinner, the sausages in bacon, the little bacon rolls, stuffing, bread sauce, cranberry sauce etc. This year we're at my parents for Christmas Day so it will be a capon (if available) or a big chicken if not, and then we're down to Mabs' dad's for New Year where I believe we're having a goose so I'm happy all round!

We also traditionally have loads of mixed nuts at Christmas, Snowballs made with Advocaar, a cold buffet on Boxing Day with a huge stand pie, cold meats, cheeses, pickles etc as well as copious amounts of chocolates including my favourite Bendick's Bitter mints.

There's rumours Capons banned in UK, can't find much other then confusing comments on it.

I usually get 2 for one at pizza hut on Christmas eve, and hey presto, free Christmas dinner

You think I'm joking, it's been done on more than one occasion over the years

*so alone*
Now I am feeling so fucking guilty! Let me see if I can sort something out this year.... (no promises as I am not hosting)

Roast Turkey with all the trimmings and Yorkshire pudding without fail. Every dinner that requires gravy needs one!

Nonononononono. Yorkshire Puddings should be eaten on their own BEFORE the main meal with onion gravy and masses of salt and pepper.

I like Quail stuffed in a Grouse, stuffed in a Phesant, stuffed in a Duck, stuffed in a Goose, stuffed in a Sheep, stuffed in a Pig, stuffed in a Wild Boar, stuffed in a Cow, stuffed in an Orca, stuffed in a Blue Whale.

I then get a big crane and hang said deliciousness over the caldera of an active volcano for about 2 hours.

The missus does the veg.

Yorkshire pudding...on its own...I think that's nearly as bad as that nutjob american video.

Yorkshire pudding must be cooked around the meat to absorb the juices.

Mr Russell insists on downing a giant tube of Smarties for breakfast every Christmas Day. He says it is tradition?
