Wow just got home from the Gig.

Regardless of the rain it was an amazing show. Support were as follows

Eagles of Death Metal - OK
The Subways - Pretty good and tight set. Crowd really responded to them
Angels & Airwaves - Worst support of the lot. Just very down tempo and tried to get the crowd involved in some pseudo BS about the war etc
The Strokes - Pretty Good. Played all the favourites and really got the crowd going

An now for the real feast

After standing for nearly ten hours Came the Foo Fighters. Me and my three mates were lucky enough to get pretty close to the stage. Partially due to the rain. The crowd were rocking from start to finish and it was a great atmosphere. Best songs for me were

Awesome Saw them at the acoustic gig in Ipswich on 12th - different and verypersonal in a small theatre - that Grohl bloke is a one man show..

Damn that's pretty cool stuff that you got there. I wish I was there at the concert. My friend and I would've loved this show. my friend is really obssessed with them, and listens to them constantly. Nothing wrong with that, but he's always asking me what chords and what progressions are in each song when he can actaully look up a guitar tablet thing, and learn all their songs from there. One song I do remember teaching him was "My Hero." It's such a basic song, and he was able to pick it up within a day. It was kinda cool. Anyway, he would've loved to see the show.
