Sorry point of fact is that Raven is right, they may act like thieves, show no respect towards the rest of the realm and have no interest other than satisfying their own personal greed, but the real fault lies with Mythic for the hopeless artifact system.

I know it sucks, i know i'll get flamed, but you can't camp artifacts. You have no claim to them no matter how long you have been there. If there is a loop in the system whereby you can pull an arti mob and someone else can nip in and steal the kill and the drop then it's down to the conscience of the player doing-so.

Always amazes me that some players will gain more gratification out of depriving a player of something they want than out of helping them get it.

I tend to disagree with you tallen...

Mythic is to blame for a lot of things but not for ppl misbehaving.

The artefact system may need improvements but if ppl are trying to wipe others or steal claimed (thru a first hit) mobs its not the fault of the system no matter how bad it is.

It Seems BARKER keeps coming up on these Forums yet he he has been doing this for a long long time now how people of Hib put up with this low life is beyond me.

There have been numerous Posts about him from Stealing everything in peoples Guild Houses to taking Artifacts.I know the Guild house stealing where he was caught red handed as the GM of the guild asked Goa to look into it for him and his alt was the one who was doing it.For Artifact theft then Surely This person Barker should be looking at a healthy ban from playing this game.

Only Solution to Mr Barker is that
1. If he is near you Stay clear of him.
2. Take SS of any action that he does towards you.
3. Report Rightnow and get his sorry ass banned.

On a further note if Mr Barker is allowed to keep doing this then Hib as a community should be looking at Avoiding him at all costs.Maybe some one with knowledge of all his alts should post them here so that he never be a problem to anyone again.

Perhaps I miss-understand, but are you honestly of the opinion that the current artifact system on a ToA server is a GOOD thing?!?

Artifact mobs should either have a short timer or be instanced. I know they're supposed to be rare, but it's just rediculous and unfair at the moment. Personally I'd rather pay through the nose in plat than perma camp some ridiculous spawn and have cat fights with loosers - the thing is while I'd quite capable of making a lot of money if I want, many others can't (or possibly won't).

The difference between the haves and the have nots has massivly increaced since ToA and this is NOT a good thing

Ahh, didn't intend on making it look like I was blaming Mythic for players actions.

What I meant was that before ToA we didn't have this intense competition for items which are "must have" for a lot of players and which causes so many problems and arguments.

If I was to be honest, the game was slaughtered in this respect when SC was invented with SI and players began making templates where they could cap almost everything. RvR before this was a lot more focused on fun than on what Items you had

The CoC was used against us multiple times by CLA and various other guilds but when we use the CoC the very same way ppl start whining insulting us coz we're a small guild....

Kinda funny, go and post@ right now; but i guess you would have done that by now if there really was an artefact theft.

Yes on some artifacts we play like the coc says.Becourse some artifacts are over camped by second acc's and non can check this.Most of time this artifacts are camped for the marked whit a selfish greedy price.
And yes whe whant a more players friedly system on artifact encounters.
So we whant protect ure members vs that selfish greedy farmers.
And make ure own artifact system so the artifacts cant end on the marked

nobody forces people to camp for hours, there really is no point/need for it. make an arti group and check all artifacts, if the one you want isnt up then do it another day.

Taxii, Xioeen and Barker stole GoV from a guildy who had started the encouner last night so what goes around comes around.

First of all - We dident steal a thing! There was No one in the area at all, and there was defo none camping GoV at that time. So if you would please stop the lies.

And as said in teh post by raven - No one forces you to camp an artifact all day, simple as that.

I dont mind being insulted for doing soemthing when i know It wasent the right thing to do, but in this case I tend to get pissed on you people who blame people for doing stuff that they dident do. And if Guildmate of yours dont have the guts to post himself, I dont really see that there's a problem.

must say that the last (and only time) i got in contact with 3 members of Nexus they "stole" (understand pulled the mob when i told em i had peeps inc to do it, they arrived just as the mob died so it wasn't like they would've had to wait for hours...) an arti from me. The only thing they had to say was that if we would've been on Camlann they would have had the pleasure to kill me on top of it... very nice peeps indeed!

ah yeah so if u pull a mob before another one can pull it is "stealing" coz all mobs are generally preclaimed by anyone who is near the the mob no matter if he is able to do the encounter / mob or not.

In the situation u discribed you had peeps inc to do it, so the nexus peeps which were able to do it right away should have waited for <insert random amount of time> till you were able to pull coz <insert random reason>.

I can understand you, i also hate half of the realm for beeing equipped before me (as i also had all artefacts i needed preclaimed; at least in one of my vivid item dreams)
