Theres several tactics to negate strafe. /Face works well against most except the ones who lag really badly, they may get positionals off but you should usually be able to hit them reliably. Walking backwards is also good, I'm not sure how it compares but in my experience it seems better. Finally you can stick and strafe in the opposite direction to them, this will cause you both to get 'target not in view' messages a hell of a lot and usually ends up in a fairly amusing fight.

Anyhow I don't strafe much myself but I recognise that for some lines with rubbish posiitionals the player needs to do it to get maximum effect. The only ones who really irritate me are those who lag badly to begin and with, and deliberately exploit their lag such that you constantly get 'target not in view' you cannot hit them half the time. Apparently this is bannable, but the tactics above should work against this anyway.

wasent me mate i normaly solo or go out in my guild Ime quite suprised your an alb who solos normaly they always have freinds but if you wanna have a solo rumble with me you on just name the time and place

Alot of albs solo, same as the mids/hibs do. It's quite easy to get an impression on the general realm of your enemies, until you try playing one of them. Then you'll see just how annoying your own realm can be.

Wonder when ppl get that its RvR, not a PvP server. IF you can solo and get duels, fine. But if not then its not them there is wrong and you that is right.

RvR = kill any enemy in sight. Whatever unwritten rules you have in your mind, they dont apply to everyone else.
People pay for their own game, so they are allowed to play anyway they want within the written rules. end of story.

I could say you are the stupid one, since you dont protect yourself by running in a group, But I dont, thats your choice.

And before you say anything, yes I mainly do run solo in Thid and yes I curse loudly when I get zerged, BUT I would not go here and make a thread about it. I just avoid them in the future and payback if I ever get the chance.

Play how you like, but dont tell others how they should play.

You stop strafting when at the side and judge it so the style is pulled out immediately before /face or /stick is issued.

side style can only be pulled of if strafe is combined with sprint,but i whould not sugest it for players unless they have a realy good side style.

just start strafing yourself or idd walk backwards ,/face does not realy prevent the isue reliable in my views

Actually my soloer is a Thrust reaver. Just been a little inactive in Thid lately.
