Aside from a few outright bugs in the system there are a few problems which stop the alliance system from being as smooth as it could be. That said, the basic system is ok, it just needs a bit of tuning up and polish.

1) Increase the guild limit. Yes, again I'm asking for this.

2) Allow guilds to choose whether alliance officers in other guilds can promote /demote alliance ranks within their own guilds.

So for example, Guild A grants permission for alliance officers to promote/demote alliance ranks in Guild A. Guild B has an officer online when someone in Guild A starts hosing Alliance chat with abuse and is able to take care of the issue on the spot. Or someone in Guild A needs alliance chat access when no officers in Guild A are online and someone in Guild B can take care of it. Note: no promoting/demoting of alliance officers should be allowed. Making this an optional switch for each guild means that each guild can choose to not allow this. It just creates extra flexibility.

3) Removing guilds from alliance.

Suppose 2 guilds are inactive and you want to remove from alliance - you're screwed. You have to reform the alliance and can't just remove them. This needs to be addressed. There are several ways it could be tackled - granting executive authority to Guild Leaders that form the initial alliance, or by making it possible for guild leaders to vote on a poll to give this authority. Reducing the number of guilds needed to vote a guild out also works and is probably the easiest way of doing this.

4) Sorting of names within guilds. Basic management option this. Its a nightmare finding characters because the way that the listing is currently done is, frankly, mental. Organising a list of members based on the way the dev's cat catagorises its hairballs is not the most efficient. We need options to sort this by name and rank. Note: we need to be able to choose the sorting, not just have one forced on us because of lazy interface programming.
