Yesterday me and my friend checked out the battlegrounds. It was chaotic and real fun. We started out in the first fort, joined two others. Travelled a bit to another fort...then the chaos broke out. People everywhere, damage being dealt and me in all of it not knowing what happened. We won that fight but later we hunted some albs over a river and I wanted to get my mezmerise off but ended up dead instead. :)
After this I was a bit more careful, healing and resurecting and mesmerising those that came to close. I did not know that it was so chaotic as it was though....at least for me it was so but I am inexperinced though.

It was really a fun experience and we will continue now and then. Anyone that has any good tip of what to think about when you play RVR?

Its good you enjoyed yourself. RvR experience is great fun, and remains fun if you work well in a team. Knowing your realms abilities, not just your char is important, gives u a good idea how your team should all play around each other if u know what spell/combat lines they have.

As a healer, more often then not, u will find yourself later in time, being the man who keeps the albs/hibbies under crowd control (CC) mezzing and stunning them, and demezzing your team members. Many "bad players" are those who join a group, then wonder off to try and solo a army of enemy realm members, then they whine saying they had no back up, and that they were "zerged" with NF coming up, these peeps need to get used to accepting Zergs.

I was out yesterday again. This time it was less chaotic. Or probably as chaotic as last time but I was a bit more used to what happened. I was in a group that did not split up to much :)
I got of my stund and mesmerise spells. Mostly I healed and resurected though :)

Which classes are the most popular ones to have in a group?

By the sound of your char, you seem to be a pac/mend healer? If so, they are always wanted :) And you get a nice moderna-bot when you reach 50

Yes, Pac-Mend healer :)
I like the CC part and complement with mend. Right now I am specced 15 in mend and 15 in pac. Going for 16 in mend and then pac to lev 20. After that I will see...probably going for mend lev 21 after that.

You should more focus on the CC part and get a high mend healer to do the healing job. Of course once you're finished with CC you can do backup healing and ressing but as the healer is the only main CC class of mid and you're specced to do crowd control it's better to focus on your main job than on the heals :). But if you're the only healer in group of course it's a different story.

problem these days, specially in thid, is that most healers are focued on pac now, and every shammy/healer is just backup healers!
but u can never get enough healer classes for middies, they are always needed for groups.

as for the most popular group classes, Healer is the most popular i guess. every group needs them. otherwise it really depends on how u want to setup your group, caster groups have various options, then their is tank groups (should be middies strongest group setup, but under used these days) hybrid groups, shader groups, etc etc

Tank groups are relatively weak in BGs as they don't get so much stuff to avoid CC until much higher level.
