Has been fun in Makro up until fireworks night.

Weve been IDing every single chav trying to buy fireworks and not one of them had it, Have had a couple banned from the store and letters written to the companies they work for for causing a huge row over it lol, fucking deserve it tbh.

The ones trying to buy them has usually been some scutty 25 year old with a couple of 16 year old chav kids, every single one of them got turned away whereas the normal people got them fine, muhahahah.

what's wrong with killing stray cats? they kill stray everything elses. cats can carry disease, they can injure if provoked just as easily as many other animals.
maybe "meet it in my car" was a bit over the top, but I still think that there are too many stray pets, for whatever reason, just knocking around the streets.
In less well off places like mexico city it gets so bad they become major carriers for disease.

fuck off tom.
dark alley, cat sneaking about, you piss it off for whatever reason, it jumps off a wall at you and has an eyeball out.
don't call me stupid, i've been attacked by cats before and if you dont know its coming it can be pretty viscious, and certainly can draw blood.

You really are a bit of a knob aren't you? Don't try and justify your dislike for cats with such crap. How do you know a cat is stray? Are you saying cats should be kept indoors at all times or you'll class them as 'stray' and hence fair game?

As for the 'dangers', gimme a break. Cats carry hardly any diseases communicable to humans unless they've got fleas or you go wallowing around in catshit (which cats tend not to leave on the streets, unlike dogs). Cats tend to have a net benefit because they keep rodents down, which is precisely why you see so many so-called 'stray' cats in 'less well off places' as you put it. Finally, of course they can 'injure if provoked', and who can blame them with people like you around?

i went to the council show in the town near me and it was fantastic. I wonder why people spend a fortune on pishy little fireworks when they can easily see an organised show.

Upwards of 30,000 folk were at the organised display and well worth the money we didnt pay.

finished with this stuff please. Chilly, imo you're being heartless and deliberately obtuse.

Grey posts of a lost pet and you post of running it over with your car. Have you ever had a pet Chilly? Have you ever had a loved pet run off, or even die? enough if this now.

I fucking hate cats. They come into my garden and shit all over the lawns, I regularly shoot them with my BB gun and throw stones at them to keep the fuckers out.
I think you're right gaffer, I just hate cats.

I love fireworks, they make me smile and happy. Went to the proper display up at Blackheath this year as it's local, was superb. Watched the docklands ones from my livingroom window on friday too.

However i also think that fireworks should only be sold under license to professional. It's stupid that any tom dick or trevor can go and buy explosives over the counter. Almost every country prohibits their sale to the general public and we should do the same.

Bullshit. If you were attacked by a cat then you must have been threatening it in some way.

ROFL... a cat shits on your lawn and you want to kill it? Sounds totally justified to me! To be honest the only stray cats I have seen were abroad, and I live in the center of town.

If you actually think a cat in an alley would attack you, you are seriously misguided.

My sister nearly lost her sight from toxoplasmosis, picked up from a cat. Knowing her I'm guessing she wasn't rolling about in cat shit, merely digging in the garden and came across some buried cat shit which she caught it from. Of course cos cats arent sane enough to just leave their poo where they dump it so you can see where it is, no, cats have to be snide and bury it for some poor unsuspecting gardner to come across.

Bascially, cats are selfish ***** and the only thing they are good for is a chinese takeaway. End of.

Oh sorry I forgot it was my sister's fault some mangey moggy decided to bury a poo in her garden. How dare she be so stupid eh?

Don't be a dick, that's still 750 people with a chance of losing their sight there really doesn't need to be, if the culprits weren't so "furry and cute" there would probably be a national tabloid outrage.

Oh and Chilly all I will say is...........................

Sorry to piss on your oh so superior chips, but you do realise toxoplasmosis can get through your average gardening gloves pretty damned easily. It did with me sister anyway.

However feel free to start talking shite again. It is most amusing.

*sigh*

...people are much more likely to become infected through eating raw meat than from handling cat feces. People also become infected by eating unwashed fruits and vegetables. Do not just focus on cats.

Do's and Don'ts for the prevention of toxoplasmosis

Do not eat raw or undercooked meat. Meat should be cooked to a temperature of at least 160°F for 20 minutes.
Do not drink unpasteurized milk.
Do not eat unwashed fruits and vegetables.
Wash hands and food preparation surfaces with warm soapy water after handling raw meat.
Wear gloves when gardening. Wash hands after gardening.
Wash hands before eating (especially children).
Keep children’s sandboxes and playpens covered.
Do not drink water from the environment unless it is boiled.
Do not feed raw meat or undercooked meat to cats. Also do not give them unpasteurized milk.
Do not allow cats to hunt or roam.
Do not allow cats to use a garden or children’s play area as their litter box.
Remove feces from the litter box daily and clean with boiling or scalding water.
Control rodent populations and other potential intermediate hosts.
Pregnant women, and persons with suppressed immune systems, should not clean the litter box.

Cats shitting in the garden ain't nice, but its what they do, and its easy to take preventative measures. Of course, feline genocide seems to be your preferred route, but that's because you're a cock.

Cats all alright apart from when they dive across a road late at night when your doing about 50mph. Needless to say i wasn't about to threaten my own life by taking evasive action... bugger cost me 300 quids worth of bumper damage though...

Same for Phesants although then i was doing around 70mph and all i heard was a *FUMPH* and alot of feather that time no damage to the car as it hit a metal bit.

//edit, No I didn't stop to see how the cat was, I wasn't going to go knocking on doors to find out whose it was and im pretty sure it died... regretable but i was late for getting ready to go out clubing
