Me too - didn't use to, but these days they seem to be sat firmly in the land of chav, with chav dads buying little annoying once every 5 minute I'll make a loud pop noise fireworks from the local co-op.
Fuck em - change the law to only properly organised (and big and impressive) displays only.
Just got back from a fireworks party for under 5's - not great advice on the fireworks - the first firework exploded noisily and all the kids started howling ;P
A lot of the fireworks either misfired or just never did much either - next year I may have to make my own...
Oh I think they're quite pretty, but i'm in view of town so can only see organised displays. I'm sure the chavs will be along anytime soon.. I hope they forget to let go of the rockets. I think hoax 999 calls could do the world of good on a night like tonight.
Poor bloody thing!
The cat is wandering about the house now in an irate manner. Irate as in attacking me. He usually goes out around 9 but we've locked the flap for tonight.
Bonfire Night - the only night when people seem to enjoy their money going up in smoke. If people enjoy it then fair play to them, but I headed to the pics instead.
Fireworks are fun for about 30 seconds. My dog doesn't seem to mind all the noise though. Was like the blitzkrieg walking home from work tonight though.
one of my cats disapeared few weeks ago.... had him about 9months or so, just strangely vanished. We suspect foul play maybe... but... just dont know whats happened.
Hrrm, not much lucky recently with our wonderful kitty kats
we had to run a firework show at our rugby club last night. OMG how the chavs flocked to it!!!!!
I really hate them, and h8ed then being on my rugby clubs premises.
That night I was on security and spent lots of time escorting the little twats out of the ground who thought it was their right to be there despite failing to pay the £3 entrance fee.
Highlight of the night was seeing a chav nutted by one of our players on security . the chavs complained lots after that happened!!!!!!
Quite like fireworks meself. I just wish people would stick to letting them off on the right night; silly bastards round here start in early October and they're still letting them off now...
Quite like 'em as long as they're only on for this week. My dog, although she is he most cowardly dog ever (she's a rescue dog and won't go near men at all - must have been beaten) and runs away at the slightest noise, isn't bothered at all by fireworks. Last year as I was lighting the enormous ones I'd bought, she was right behind me, couldn't get her in the house as she wanted to be outside with all us lot.
