Firewizz, good or bad?

My wizzy made a misstake in his early lvls by putting some points in the earth and ice paths. Now with the patch comming today and everything, i was thinking of do a full respec to fire.
The question now is if it's worth it? Should i go for full firespec or maybe choose either earth or ice instead?

It depends on the final spec you wish to achieve,

I have 50 fire, 7 Ice, rest earth. This spec works for me, great nuking power, magma shield, GTAoE to interrupt enchanters, AoE root (37 sec) AoE snare, PBAOE to detect stealthers... But When you put points in earth / ice in your early lvl's you'll be one level behind on your major firespells (you'll get a lvl 34 spell at lvl 35). So a respec might be the way to go, unless you want to have magam shield (earth line) to help your party in PvE. But bear in mind that magma shield breaks root if a rooted mob hits player with magma shield cast on him.

Just remember that you can only respec at the lvl you are now or one level higher.... After that you'll get the single line respec at lvl 40
