I am having trouble installing the new update for FF.. Everytime I try to open it this messages comes:

One or more files could not be updated. Please make sure all applications are closed and that you have permission to modify files, and then restart Firefox and try again.

And then an okay button.. If I press this it will start updating, but then the same messages pops up! I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, closing every program, but nothing works :(

Anyone had same problems?

Are you sure your user level is at least power user?

Yeah, as far as I remember the auto-update part is rather annoying. With default settings it decides it needs update, saves that somewhere and keeps trying to update it under regular user account every startup, even if you update it using admin account meanwhile.

I solved it by just giving my user account admin rights temporarily.

Interesting you should say that, I've been having similar problems...

Still looking for a fix but I'll post on here if I find one.

And now all my cookies went after i had to reboot.

I'm starting to think a "purge" would be in place.

Important stuff-->cd-->destroy all!
