Strange, my firefox seems to have stopped letting me bookmark pages.

Its a pain having the bookmark toolbar with my most used links on it, just not being able to add to it

File could be corrupt.

Bookmarks not saved - MozillaZine Knowledge Base check out "2.1 places.sqlite file" (assuming Firefox 3+)

Basically, export your bookmarks, backup and delete the bookmarks DB and re-import when FF creates a new one.

No such file exhists anywhere on my pc.

1. Choose Start → Run
2. Type in %APPDATA%
3. Press OK. A Windows Explorer window will appear.
4. In the Windows Explorer window, choose Mozilla → Firefox → Profiles. Each folder in this folder is a profile on your computer.

Inside the profile folder, you'll find it. If not, you're not on Firefox 3.0 or 3.5?
