Fins grp?

Lol after waiting last nite while doing coursework for 6 hrs to get into a fins grp

I thought i would check if theres any fins grps planning on heading out at bout 4:30 + GMT?

If anyone is heading out and you need a caster post here and ill meet u in game

Im already sitting at 57,52 in CF so ill be ready to go the second i rush home from work

hmm majority of ones ive asked are 42+ cept maybe for tanks as they need to take all the whacking

ill be 43 in 2 bubs time which ill get in no time (if i get a grp there hee hee)

Yeh I allso was there at lvl 42 with my hero, but that was a shield hero, and usually lvl is 44-50.

But one think I don't understand....my RL m8 that reacently have reatched 50, was in fin group alot. He kept the "fin-list" one day, and I saw it there on a paper, and I must say ROFLMAO. It was enough peeps to make like 5 FG! Why don't the some of the peeps on the list make a group and go Siab city, EZ, crim fins etc...?

It actually IS other spots to get lvl 50 than the dam tree in CF

I was fin list holder many times.

I always gave away names if the list was long enough to start new groups and it often worked.

It's insane to wait 12 hours (like lisco did while I was omw from 49->50) and doing actually nothing.

Get your name on the list and play an alt is another good choice - many did that too.

Every second you doing NOTHING while online is worthless and wasted money - my 2 cents

Yeah my alt is gonna end up higher lvl than my main with the amount of time i wait.

That merging those waiting into grp is great idea ill need to remember that one tonight

ppl lower than 44 shouldn't be in fin groups (just my opinion). It's always funny to see a lvl 42ish manabomber trying to hit those cuties (aka fins). And then ppl complain about downtime

But well, my exping time is long over (at least with my main) ... some thing may have changed over the month.

Well for me I only exp at weekends and there isn't usually many Druids on the list so i usually wait no more than 3 hours.. in which time i usually play a alt or lvl a m8's char

I never sit and idle fir hours at fins hopeing my turn will come.

Altho me being UBER u'd be silly not to take me in.

just a note but did you fins people know that there is a thing called negative camp bonus, and staying in that one place all day makes the exp really crap, you can/will be getting - 11 mill per mob, it dont show but it is there.

like said before ez sc are way more fun and better exp, someone should start an 'ez list' because some people dont even see innis they walk from cm to cf =)

personally i am glad i dinged 50 in sc covered up my exp bar for 2 days with that P L F thingy, and just had fun with nice people and after some croni's and elves DING!!!! =))

hehe, if ever i want to take a trip to cruachon to get a swing harness (dont need to now, can make my own as of two days ago ) i need to go to emain, since alpha or someone else is ALLWAYS camping our route to emain, i can never get through, but since i know a way past the aggro through the frontier's, i can go through from cain easily enough

that route, nearing the end, takes me close to crim fins, and i allways have a chuckle, saw them all there once, totally uncamped, then asked a guildie who was on the fins list how long he'd been on, he said just over 7 hours! , and there's me looking at the totoally uncamped, untouched fin spawn , allways makes the run to emain a laugh

Have to admit, I agree with the fact that fins are boring, but.. through my xping experience, the fins have tbh been the quickest most reliable source of xp post 43 for me so far. I have had lots and lots of help from all my friends over the months, and have had lots of fun with Knights, Warshades etc,. but, I have to be completely honest, whenever I have xp'd in 2 Grp Ventures, IE Dual Knights groups, the xp, in both grps has been sub standard. (of course I enjoyed these times and wouldnt exchange them for 5 hours of fins for the world, but I am commenting xp only)

CF fins, I have found to be a pain in the arse. Xp is nice, and the groups I went with were nice peeps, and we had fun, but.. every single time I have been, often removing myself from the fins list to go, we have been wiped or at least stopped from xping by invaders, within an hour or so of starting. And there is no other spawn close by to move to to increase the bonus.

Siabra city, even with level 50 tanks in grp is a dangerous place, and often, the deaths and wipeouts make it unreliable to xp. (them archmagi are damn hard nukers! )

As much as people slag off fins, its the fastest I have seen people level. People grey to me, have got to 50 faster than I thought possible in those groups. With the day spawn fins, its simple, you switch from day to night spawn and the xp is great. Over a bub an hour, constant for 5 hours, with no breaks, is a lot better xp in the long run IMHO than knights, etc.

So for Xp = Fins are IMO good constant xp negative camp bonus or not.

I see you're point m8 and totally agree on that...BUT it's not nice xp if you can't get into the fin gorup, thats the little issue here if I got it right. So it's alot better hunting those other spots than doing nothing while waiting many hours on a CF fin spot.

Yep Kobold, I agree on that too And when groups have been offered to me while on the fins list, I have gone with that group, and taken myself off the list. I prefer the fun factor and actually doing something rather than waiting

I originally said I would never go on a fins list, it is IMO a shame that lists have to be done at all. In a game where xping is so damn important, they should give us a hell of a lot more spawns to xp at

Thalion ? I could hit fins at lvl 41 just as easy as I was hitting fins at 47 before my last aoe , usually there were 2 chanters so DT was nothing , especially with MCL which is pretty easy to obtain also high lvl MR is always a bonus , in fact most DT was down to having lvl 43 tanks who could'nt hold agro , some could some could'nt , but usually the latter at that level .

Hmmm but are fins not bout the same level as say silverhand guardians at the back of CM?

Speaking as a voidy i barely rarely get a resist of them and therefore I doubt i would get many resists of fins.

Just curious what else cept resistance determines ur chance of hit on mop?

Nope , dont know were you get all those resists from , I got regular groups at Crim fins at 41 and was the only pb'er ask anyone who grouped with me then , unless Crim fins are lower lvl than CF ?
